1. Guess what the type of UV light that is proven to kill bacteria and disable viruses is called? Anyone? Bueller? DISINFECTING UV LIGHT. That is the industry term of art for this type of light, "DUV." Pssst, you are all going to be hearing LOTS more about this type of light regardless of whether any applications that are injected into patients pan out.
2. Guess what the public company working on uses of DUV in internal patient applications calls administration of this light? INJECTION. Not such a strange thing to grasp as many substances and things are "injected" into human bodies as part of medical procedures.
3. Guess who is going to look like a pack of morons when Trump ends up bringing this company up on stage next week, or at least references some of their materials and research in detail? YOU ARE.

For decades barbers have had their little setups where they placed their tools, scissors, combs, and whatnot, under an UV light. This is to sanitize them, so that germs from one client would not infect other clients.

Likewise, for decades people have been radiating water with UV light as a way to sanatize water. Hospitals also use UV radiation to sanitize operating rooms as well as surgical tools.

Do what it means when one sanitizes something with UV light? Death. UV light breaks apart genetic material, of which a virus is a type. Blast some water, or a surface with UV light for about half an hour and you are pretty much guaranteed that all viruses, bacteria, and parasites will be killed. When things, like rooms, are radiated with UV light, it is done without humans present, as it is quite harmful to humans. It is the cause of sunburns, and your skin is hardened against it. Your inners would be fried.

You know the scenes of hazmat dressed workers spraying chemicals all over the place. That is disinfectant. It also kills. That is what it was designed to do, kill efficiently. That is why the workers are wearing protective clothing and using respirators.

Don't worry, this issue will fade away as Trump stumbles into his next debacle. Next week, same time, same station. Same slap stick humor.
