Unconditional Trump supporters are required to excuse lies that benefit Trump and his lackeys even if they put national security at risk. But those of us who are not blind Trump supporters don't. And neither do those whose primary job is to protect national security.

It is not the job of the FBI to frame someone to get them fired. Their job is to investigate. If they find the evidence of being in the pocket of a foreign government, then they should report it. It is not to generate crimes so they can convict someone. To believe otherwise shows that you believe in a police state which does whatever it wants.

Whether his son did anything illegal or not is not relevant. That is not how our law enforcement agencies should be operating. If they cannot find the evidence to convict, then it is likely that their investigation is flawed to start with. Do the investigation correctly, not manufacture evidence and then force a confession.

This is how the police operate in China and Russia. If they can't get the required evidence, then manufacture it. Is this really how you want our law enforcement agencies to operate?

If they have enough evidence to convict Flynn which is obtained without resorting to such tactics. then use that evidence. Otherwise, the investigation is incomplete or Flynn is innocent. If they have enough evidence to convict his son, then convict him.
