Are you seriously telling me you have not heard the left saying these Corona checks are "socialism" ? One of the MSM outfits put that misinfo out as a talking point and the unpaid consumers (should we call them victims?) usefully, spread that jive across the web. There is a reason I wrapped the word in these-----> " "

You know what they say..."never let a crisis go to waste". Use it to push forward, agenda items you never could in normal times. I agree with you, except no money for companies. This crap is hard on employers, as well.

Trump: $2.2 Billion is the largest stimulus (grift) package ever!

    Pelosi: Hold my ice cream...

No, not all just the ones who are not sick, never made what the government pays them for unemployment and won't work until the free money stops flowing.
There was bound to be some fraud and corruption with the stimulus money that is already flowing. Blue state lunacy will be dead on arrival so consider it a moot point to comment on any further.

As if we needed anymore proof that the Dems are not at all interested in helping the American people get through the Chinese Virus pandemic this is it.

The money is not earmarked for "only" those people out of work. The federal government employee who works in DC making all the way up into 6 figures while Teleworking from home gets this money (within the income limits). The person that made $35K per year now collecting at or above what amounts to $50K a year on unemployment gets this money. This is just two demographics that would get this money and don't rightfully need it! I can name many more demographics that received stimulus payments that didn't need it, to include the one I am in.

The Dems are attempting to buy an election with socialism. All the free stuff promised under Obama now coming true.

I am 100% for helping those in need, but that isn't 3 trillion dollars more!

They’ll need to pass it and then go directly to the White House to negotiate and then present a package to the Senate.

Directly to the Senate is a non-starter.

Blue states are the most in debt states. They do seem to beat red states on being contributors but they need bailed out do to blue policies. Red states generally have less state debt from what I've researched. (More than happy to be proved wrong as I'm not providing links) I like the idea of delaying payments to a later date but I dont like giving money to states that break federal law though.

No state asking for aid has broken federal law, to my knowledge. But red states are a net drain in federal funds, while blue states are net contributors. Those are just the facts. Needing assistance during a pandemic doesn't change that fact.

Typical alt right lies and falsehoods above.

For instance, New York sends more money to DC than it receives.

That cannot be said for the majority of the southern, border, and upper Midwestern states.

To you and me that is crazy....but to Nancy P and the radical left...it makes perfect since. Kill the small businesses....make more people dependent and bring in more people that are dependent....shower the uber-elite....and now you have serfs and kings

What is missing from the Democratic trillions in economic stimulus?
    Product!

    Public works projects type product.
Something left for the benefit of people.

Via public works projects, people will earn money
that will drive unrelated economy too.

This is not to suggest it should be 100% public works projects.
It is to state the lack of such budgeting to stimulate the economy is absurd.

The Democratic plan is wrong headed.

Totally dependent on a welfare frame of mind.
Forgotten are FDR's and Eisenhower programs. Workfare.

Doesn't change the fact that you are incorrect.
