Hamas has left Gaza in shambles. Life there is difficult, sad and abnormal. Only buildings with generators actually maintain steady power. The lack of power affects everything from preserving fresh food to treating sewage. If a person in Gaza falls ill, he is likely to find trained medical professionals unable to help because of the lack of equipment and medicines. The people there — even the talented and educated — can’t find jobs. The store shelves are empty. The shoreline, which in many other places in the Mediterranean would be filled with beach resorts, is covered in the raw sewage and debris from successive wars. The cost of conflict is seen in all aspects of life in Gaza.
If you ask why such hardships exist in Gaza, the answer will almost always be the same: the Israelis.
Really? The Arabs in Israel generally live normal lives and, in many cases, thrive. In fact, Arab citizens of Israel live freely compared with Arabs in many other countries in the region. The Palestinians in the West Bank are largely progressing in stable cities and communities. Educated workers are finding jobs (though there is much room for improvement — something the Trump administration has tried to help Palestinians with, only to be blocked by the Palestinian Authority). Trade both with Israel and abroad is providing employment and possibilities. Infrastructure has progressively improved. Power is available 24 hours every day in most communities.
The countries of the world have attempted to help the people of Gaza repeatedly since 2007, when Hamas violently seized power there from the government led by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. Donors have offered to build the infrastructure and the economy, but are set back years every time Hamas and other terrorist organizations fire rockets into Israel. Hamas has instigated three wars with Israel since 2007, each time leaving its infrastructure in greater disarray.
In these wars, Hamas and other terrorist groups launched thousands of rockets. Each new attack on Israeli communities forces Israel to adopt more restrictive measures on imports to Gaza to prevent the illicit transfer of goods that could be used to build and expand the militants’ arsenals. The international community donated funds for reconstruction of homes, but Hamas diverted these supplies to build the infrastructure for war instead of schools and hospitals.

Same old tale. Same old non truth. Oh No Hamas is not the culprit. Hamas was ready for peace and a two state solution. The US and Israel could not take knowing that a 2 State solution and peace could happen as far as the Palestinians were concerned. 9/11 helped - nothing gave to Israel like 9/11 just as Netanyahu admitted when he was first given the 'good news' and Tony Blair set it up with Germany and from there the EU so that Israel could use her top army against civilians, kill civilians at will and imprison them until she had all she wanted. That was the West's response to the reality that Hamas could have come to the table and a two state solution was possible. Christian Zionists were determined a two state solution would not happen and Netanyahu has been working with them since the 90's to make sure this did not happen as they work together to achieve Greater Israel and either kill or ethnic cleanse all Palestinains - and it is all ethnic Palestinians. Israel are ethnic nationalists. They don't even try and deny it. That is why we now have the basic law to make Arab citizens of Israel clearly by law second class citizens and now a majority of the citizens of Israel want them to have their citizenship removed prior to deporting as well as removing bit by bit the residency of Jerusalem's Palestinians. All supported by the white Supremacist United States of American Oh of course the other part of the propaganda was blame was to blame all of this on Hamas. Blame all of Israel's killing on Hamas. Since 9/11 Europe is moving back to White Supremacy following the US which always has been - despite about half of her white citizens being anything but.

This was 2016, I am sure a recent poll had the number of Israelis wanting arab's removed from Israel 53%

Israel, supported by the US cries antisemitism when people point out her racism and her Nazi mentality. The West puts in laws to remove democracy and go along with this.

Here is their latest in that respect

Together American Christian Zionists and Israeli neo zionists working for Greater Israel and the expulsion or mass killing by any means of all Palestinians have brought back to the West the mentality it had before WW2 and in Germany during WW2. Nothing could be a greater disgrace to Jews who suffered the holocaust. Nothing. It is totally understandable why most Jews of the time including those who were murdered in the Holocaust had nothing but contempt for Israel.

If it wasn't for Hamas I wouldn't mind betting that Israel would support the Gazans in various ways. As it is I really feel for the Gazans because they're stuck right in the middle of two warring factions, an aggressor and a retaliating force.

Their charter emphasizes Hamas' ideological commitment to the destruction of the State of Israel through a strategy of long-term violent struggle.

After several months of relative calm on the border between Israel and Gaza, Hamas is once again starting to set fire to the area and send incendiary balloons to burn Israeli fields and territories.
    Hamas does not want peace.
    Hamas wants to destroy Israel.
I hope Gazans will have their Arab spring same as it starts in Beirut.
