Noted Covington Attorney Lin Wood Announces Intent to Defend Kenosha Shooter Kyle Rittenhouse

A new video appears tom show that least one of the people the Kenosha shooter, Kyle Rittenhouse shot was in self-defense after the rioter hit him in the head with his skateboard just before he was killed.

In addition, Lin Wood, the lawyer who took on the case for the Covington kids and specifically Nick Sandmann.


He says he will represent Rittenhouse free of cost because the videos show he acted in self-defense.

Wood is not a criminal defense attorney but he will be working with lawyers who are. Michelle Malkin is also rumored to be working with Rittenhouse’s defense.

Immediately after his arrest, Democrats and their slaves in the media began calling Rittenhouse a White Supremacist and a bigot.


This is what they did to the Covington kids. But if experts agree that the video clearly shows self-defense as many are now claiming, those same people can be sued for defamation, which is Wood’s specialty.

I will be very interested to see this case wind through the courts.

 

HE's a 17 year old kid who travelled from out of state with a semi automatic weapon strapped around his neck, with only one thing in mind murder and mayhem. Their is no defense for that he deserves the electric chair, if we still have one.

I haven't seen these vids or heard the full story on this except to read comments on another forum that's very very left. Basically theynseem to think he's the devil incarnate.

Do you not read the news? Or do go out and pick and chose what news you want? That is apoltical question by the way. There are several videos out showing that this kid acted in self defense. He will get off and rightly so. Why don't you chastise those who tried to burn down the building with cops in it? Or the the people who chases down this kid and tried to kill him?

The people who should be charged are the idiot militia members who let a kid carry a gun illegally and had him on the streets past legal curfew.
WTF were they thinking? And making this kid into a hero is beyond stupid. Now if this kid walks, there will be even more violence. Violence that could have been avoided if the adults around him had been adults and not allowed this kid to set this in motion by allowing him to carry illegally and be out past legal curfew.

Did it allow him to break the law in preparation for this? While possible, I highly doubt an entire group started trying to take his weapon from him had he done nothing to instigate it. Time will tell.

He was thanked by the police and is now a “hero to the right” — let’s hope he wasn’t pointing his illegal weapon at people prior to this or threatening them in any way while brandishing, if so, they were the ones acting in self defense. Would make those first two groups look even more like fascist.

I for one am waiting on more information before dispensing judgment outside of he shouldn’t have been there with an illegal weapon.

 

Haven’t seen video leading up to the first shooting. If the case for self defense can’t be made on that one I don’t think the second or third will play out any better for him. The crowd would have the right to stop/kill an active shooter. We still believe in the “good guy with a gun,” right?

 

The first person he killed was an execution. The second 2 were self defense.

That said, he crossed state lines with an illegal AR15 at 17 and shouldn't have been anywhere near there.

Probably only get Reckless Endangerment and Unlawful use of a weapon. Most likely sentenced for 5 years and get off in 2. But, he will get millions of lawsuits from CNN and other fake news organizations due to them falsely calling him a white supremiscist etc.

The kid was being chased and assaulted by numerous rioters, he defended himself. Period. I will give $$ to his defense.
