You mean other than the deliberate disenfranchisement of black Americans?

Should be an exciting election, though of course nothing will ever top 2016. I don't think any of us will ever enjoy such deep hilarity again in our lifetimes.

Trumps a racist and I believe that most of his votes came from people voting AGAINST Hillary rather than FOR trump.

LOL ... yeah sure. They have it sooo good this century. That increasing education and home ownership of the late 20thC all but gone. The white elites (aka, Democrats) didn't like black folk getting so uppity, so they roped in a Patsy to put them back on their knees.

    :applause:

Yes, we have been manipulated because we have reacted affirmatively to what triggers our own Confirmation Bias. That is essentially how it works. Basically what were known as Limbaugh's "ditto heads" were all just reacting to their triggered confirmation biases.

The question being how to alter that to become Critical Thinking instead. Most people are unaware that their confirmation bias has been triggered. Instead they use empty platitudes of praise instead of asking WHY did that trigger that reaction in myself and what does the person triggering it want out of me?

Unfortunately being at the bottom of a deep hole that is rapidly filling up is not a place where ordinary people start wondering about things like that. They will answer affirmatively to anyone who pretends that they will help them out of that deep hole even though it was person who put them there in the first place.

We are at a dark place in the history of our nation and I do not have the answers. All I can do is rely upon the lessons of history that point to all the signs of us becoming a Totalitarian Dystopia. How we change course depends entirely upon the will and resolve of We the People.

Parades are meaningless feel good exercises that trigger Confirmation Bias but have ZERO impact on the RESULT of the election.

Trump is not a racist, most people did indeed vote against Hillary but not Hillary alone, Hillary and what she represents, which is old school corrupt Democrat machine politics.

Wait...California is not part of the United States?

How do the numbers change if you remove Texas or Florida?

And his record of racism is long and sordid

We stand on the cusp of a prez, who was not elected by a majority of Americans, having a SC nominee confirmed by the Senate, that does not represent the views of a majority of Americans.

Roughly 7 in 10 Americans do not want Roe overturned. A vast majority want stricter gun control. A vast majority recognize the truth of the science behind man made climate change. A vast majority favor a path to citizenship for qualified immigrants.

Is it any wonder why Repubs feel the need to suppress votes to retain power?

He list California by 4 million won every where else by 1 and the pop vote doesn't matter save in each state. And there is no record of racism.

My Last Vote Before America Becomes a Totalitarian Dystopia Looks like someone has realized that the polls are grossly exaggerated (ridiculous leftist scheme) and that Biden has zero chance of a legitimate win. Imagine their surprise when this "dystopia" doesn't materialize and America continues to flourish, prosper and law and order is re-established. Imagine their surprise that an America that's sick of their bullshit becomes more intensely conservative and demands the end of perverted leftist politics in America. Imagine their surprise at how the president is able to accomplish many things because he's not constantly distracted by the manifold ridiculous demands of a shrill but small minority. Yes that is correct, minority meaning the extreme left that has successfully suckered and bullied the majority of sane Democrat voters. No real American believes the crap that Antifa and BLM are trying to foist on us, voting Democrat these days is pretending not to notice this garbage and blind loyalty to a party that no longer exists. The real dystopia is mob rule, it's what has happened in Portland and Seattle and continues. They are only bullies now but history is full of bullies who convinced whole nations to self destruct. One doesn't need to vote for their party to vote their conscience. Since the title of this post is so melodramatic I'll end my reply with some reality. If in the unlikely event that the real fascists come into power do you think they will allow dissenters? Is that how a civilized society acts? In that unlikely event much of America would be boarding a train for Auschwitz.

Like all solutions, nothing about it is simple. It might be that appropriating the tools of our manipulation is a good way to fight this. Let's flood the online world with dark and nefarious memes, conspiracy theories, and constant demonizing of the one true enemy of the people called Sukr. Hammer away with the narrative of how our minds have been appropriated by the evil PiKsL8tr, a monster that rises from glowing liquid crystal diodes embedded in our monitors and injects us with dopamine and serotonin. Give us all that one common enemy and show us how that enemy has inched into every aspect of our lives to create this matrix of mis-reality. Pump out dozens of hero-movies where average folks smash through Sukr's system of A.R. and take back their own minds. Or a new Star Wars movie where the good Jedi finally triumph over the dark jedi by going out into nature and meditating. Until we are forced to realize that those of us who are most certain we can't be manipulated are the easiest to manipulate, we continue in Sukr's universe.

    Oy vey.
