I don't know if you will see this on the MSM but this is the result of the democratic leaders in Minneapolis not stopping the riots, burning, looting, and murder in a downtown section. Only a moron, or a criminal, or a liberal, would defund the police. Below is the police department's Inspector Sean McGinty's reply to Craig Paulson's email, a business owner, asking about reinforcements because his employees are now afraid to come to work.

As far as a long-term plan I don’t have one. I have lost 30% of my street officers since the end of May. Budget cuts from COVID-19 and an additional 1.5 million from the council in August we have let go 17 CSO’s and canceled a recruit class of 29. A potential Cadet class slated for January of 2021 was also eliminated. It takes about a year to get a police Officer onto the streets with hiring, backgrounds and field training so reinforcements aren’t coming anytime soon. We are doing everything we can with what we have. I hate to see great businesses like yours and the rest of your corridor being victimized and feeling unsafe. Please let me know if you have any more questions.

I wonder how Minnesotans would feel to replacing law enforcement with an Antifa or BLM police force. I really think they ought to give a try.

Minnesotans have taken to protecting themselves. There is not a round of ammo to be found and our carry classes are booked through the end of the year.

    Minneapolis Chaos Continues

You mean more people are being stuffed in vans and taken to unknown locations by unidentified federal troopers dressed in military gear?

After all this, if Minnesota does not turn Red, then let's start a GoFundMe page to raise the money necessary for Mn to leave the union. We can't have that kind of idiocy draining our taxpayer resources.

I doubt Canada would want them. They still seem averse to contentiousness.

Mn could be its own country, they have a lot of farm land, so they can feed themselves, they have a lot of lakes, so they could get some tourism going, they could warm themselves in the winter by harvesting the warmth from the burning cities and piping that in to homes. Camelot.

But, but, but all the cities would be burned down. Oh well, it would provide a lot more farm land. But I wouldn't be heading that way as a tourist. Truth be told I would bet a lot of politicians get booted out of office at the next election. Kick an old dog long enough and finally he'll bite back.

We can only hope. I also hope those being stuffed into vans are held indefinitely without due process like the terrorists they are.

I just listened to an interview with a reporter from a local news station and he described what is currently going on in the George Floyd autonomous zone in Minneapolis. This goes on literally unreported in the Twin Cities area and currently the mayor who started this conflagration all across the country man child Jacob Frey is in negotiations with the local street thugs to give them $400,000/ per year to run a George Floyd square memorial in the city. The four-block area is currently a police no-go section and there have been assaults and rapes in that four block area and the police tell the victims to meet them at a corner of the "zone" so they can get them some help.
I could go on but the interview starts at 26:00 in this podcast and it is an eye-opener as to what happens when you let "progressives" take over your city.

If you extrapolate on that, envision that situation nationally and you'll see what America could become under Democrat rule. This has actually been going on for a long time as evidenced by Democrat strongholds like Detroit, Baltimore, NYC, Flint, Gary and the list goes on and on. In my travels I've seen places in the US that resemble war zones in the Middle East. In every case it's been in blue states in very blue cities. What's even more astonishing is that people continue to live in some of these places because they can't afford to move out. It's only just a little bit better than being homeless. So much for Johnson's Great Society.

This one intrigues me because it is getting little local and no national coverage. The reporter in ly link was not allowed to enter that "zone" that has been taken over by thugs even though they are public streets. Meanwhile, the tweedle dum mayor of Minneapolis is planning on giving them a six figure payoff money with no strings attached.
People wonder why there are few guns and no ammo to be found.
I encourage anyone who remembers the "Mad Max" series to go to the 26:00 minute of the podcast and spend a few minutes listening to today's reality.

No ammo seems to be an issue even in states with no rioting issues. Went to my local Cabela’s and there were hardly any guns or ammo available for sale.

Gun show here Fri/Sat/Sun thousands of new and used firearms and good assortment of ammo, optics and reloading components and powder, all calibers.. Picked up a suppressor for $250 and a silver and garnet birth stone bracelet..

Don't need anymore firearms, twelve is plenty ;)

I’m all set with my firearm and ammo. Just crazy how much of a shortage there is. Paranoia does funny things to people.

The dems are good at putting everyone in poverty and then every four years tell you they will help make your life better. You elect them and the cycle starts all over again. A downward cycle. Just look back 50 years. I don't understand how a clear thinking adult can vote for a democrat. You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time but you can't fool all the people all the time. Trump to the rescue.

And how specifically do Dem politicians put everyone in poverty? I've never been "put into poverty" by anyone let alone a Dem politician.

It's complete insanity. I feel like we are inside the Matrix, and the code has been corrupted and after November the program will crash, and we will all wake up trying to swim for our lives in the sewage below. Only Morpheus won't be there to pull us out in time.

Voting-wise I am or third party depending on who the Repub candidate is. But not sure what that has to do with your comment below. You indicated Dems put EVERYONE in poverty.
