    Aren't corporations made up of working citizens? They are a legal entity and they are nothing without the people.

    Packing the Court is a typical move by left wing tyrants....the did it in Venezula for example...Hitler created a special court...it's what left wing tyrants do when the will of the people is against them....not surprised to see the modern DNC move down this road

    I asked a democrat friend about that threat, he was all for it, so I asked him if Trump wins and then takes the democrat party's advice and stacks the court would he be 100% okay with that, "Oh f**K Trump" was all I got. Okay, I get it.

    I live in a fairly conservative neighborhood (imagine that?) and we have only one Biden supporter (CA transplant that escaped CA but ....you know) anyway everyone and I mean everyone is kind and friendly to them, no one and I mean no one has said a mean word. Now there were 4 Trump signs in front of other homes, all have been stolen, but the Biden sign remains. So who are the bad guys again here? I am not saying they did it, but those Trump signs didn't steal them selves, in fact I think I know who did it, another CA transplant that is bat **** crazy, lives a ways down the street.

    If confronted on such things, their explanation is likely to be that the Trump supporters stole their own signs in order to blame Biden supporters. It was a conspiracy.....

    Sure, you cannot restrict the rights of the people within the corporation but that's not the same as calling a corporation a person or giving it personhood. A person can become president but can the corporation? Can you imagine a company like Facebook running our country?
    Also people can all donate money to political compaigns to a limit. If a corporation or other organization donates, not only are foreign stockholders having sway in our election, but the people who run the corporation are able to donate more than their limit by using the corporation.
    Treating corporations as people was one of the worst decisions by our Justice. It could potentially destroy our country if not rectified. This is a bipartisan issue and it's sad so many of my fellow Americans and Republicans do not see it the same way.

    My understanding is a Corporation is an organization of people......all of whom pay taxes. So government taxes them before they get their money......then it taxes them again.

    They probably didn't think too far ahead, but the reaction is understandable. After decades ago tactically figuring out that the courts were the best route to achieve their objectives they must be in a heap of hurt.

    BTW, no additions to the Supreme Court can be done without the president's signature.

    The hurt is real, but- self inflicted; thus I have no compassion for them.
    Without question, a leader's job is to chose the path to reach the goals of the people he leads.
    He will have to make decisions guided by that, rather than ones to avoid criticism from the opposition.

    Truman once said "If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen". Trump hasn't broken a sweat; I think that will continue to be true.

    On the one hand you say “they have been threatening this for quite a while” and then you follow with “they will do so as soon as they have the power regardless of what Trump does”

    Dems had the White House for eight years and for a time they had a supermajority in the Senate and did NOT do that.

    Your premise is false . Dems actually protect the norms of our government.

    Will it happen if Trump nominates and Mitch McConnell does what he always does?

    Trump HAS NOT brought manufacturing back to the USA, there is less now than when he took over and what does exist is mostly done robotically or mechanically.

    The Dems have made it perfectly clear that they're cool with court stacking, so I'm sure they won't mind.
