Actually, I've since learned that even those items are (loosely) related to pandemic relief. I just didn't see the connection at first reading.

Perhaps that post from @Lesh is what changed your mind, although Lesh only mentioned "SALT" - but are you actually including the gag rule on HHS?

People in states that are run by Democrats are fleeing to other states without realizing that their voting patterns will also screw up the places they are fleeing to.

I would have to conclude that that people who can't see how bad the Democrat Party is right now really are pretty stupid.

That does not indicate that they prefer to receive the relief rather than work.

well....human nature, and the science of economics say that is actually more likely.

I mean, if someone is willing to pay me NOT TO DO ANYTHING....why wouldn't I?

I don't like it, but it isn't unrelated.

Then you should have no trouble at all explaining how the gag rule on HHS is related to COVID.

But then you’re a Trump fan.

    Not everyone is like you.

I laid off most of my workforce and most of them were getting a little more than they were prior to the lay off. They couldn’t wait to come back to work.

But then they are liberals for the most part and actually HAVE a work ethic.

And guess what? If offered their job back and they refuse... they get nothing

I can imagine....I hope you pay them more...

My workforce is my Sec....I told her not to come in, and gave her her 40 hour a week check.....but then realized, if i fired her, she'd get more from the Chinese Virus Relief...so I did. I rehired her back after the Dems blocked the new Chinese Virus Relief she was happy to come back, and I certainly missed her work

100% of every human being on earth knows exactly why. They will do NOTHING if they think it reflects positively in any way on Trump, there fore they don't care one damn bit if during the meantime you lose your job, your house, or maybe your life, if suicide becomes your last option. That is the sad sad truth of the matter.

Your vote is being held hostage by Nancy Pelosi, vote Biden or Else is what she is saying.

Work has ZERO to do with Trump

And people are hurting because Moscow Mitch refuses to vote on or even discuss the heroes act

Well, over 62 million people ARE like @struth, given the number of people who voted for Trump in 2016! Are you saying 62 million Trump fans would rather do nothing than work if it pays them more and that the government should provide the funding to allow that to happen?

Because it's not a serious bill given that it's not EXCLUSIVELY about COVID relief. Therefore it's a political bill.

Sure, but the way that you replied made it seem that you mistakenly thought that I was talking to you.

Yeah, my bad. I'm referring to a separate point of argument which is that if people are being paid more by the government than what they were being paid by their jobs, then it's a problem.

Are there states where as it stands currently, people are not going to be able to vote early or mail-in their ballot if they want to?

"Unemployment insurance" as in government support?

Exactly what have the dems negotiated on in the past 4 years? In other words, specifically, what have they been willing to give up for a compromise?
