How to fight COVID

If you believe the CDC the you understand that masks do not protect anyone from Covid and that masks only attenuate large droplets but not aerosols. Do surgeons with viral infections perform operations? Why don’t they?

I support mask wearing. Just not the mandate. If a business doesnt want to require masks, they shouldn't have to.

Biden will need to start repairing the damage Trump has done to trust and autonomy of our medical system.

Treating those as optional is just BS. They just don't work unless people actually take those measures.

This idea of businesses making the decision is just plain ignorant. We've seen over and over again how that doesn't work. Remember the famous cases of Trump silencing OSHA and CDC, thus allowing meat packing plants to become super spreaders. Rememer the church services that have become super spreader events. Remember Trump's own superspreader events.

Basically, you're just asking for our best medical science to be no more than a recommendation to those who have competing interests - interests that have very little to do with our national health, our GDP, the safety of workers, the threat that these flareups pose for our medical staff, etc.

The CDC has been clear. And, the study that Carlson chased up is ONE study and it does NOT dispute what he CDC has stated.

Beyond that, the study depends on people self reporting how well they wore masks - so not even "self protection" angle (which the CDC does not claim) is nonsense.

You're just straining for excuses to reject our best medical science.

If ppl wont protect themselves, its not the govts job to intervene.

 

Isolation is a voluntary option for everyone.

National health and safety is one of the MAIN reasons that our constitutional rights have limits.
