How could a Constitution be written decades before the GOP was formed, and yet favor Republicans?

Actually what the Democratic National Committee should do is cease making the presidential nominee decision for Dem Party voters and let THEM instead decide who they want running against the GOP contender. In 2016 and again in 2020 it was the DNC and not the Dem Party voter that decided it would be Hillary Clinton and then Joe Biden. Perhaps if the DNC were to practice the very democracy that they purport to hold sacred then they'd have a better chance of actually defeating the GOP contender.

The entire North American hemisphere --- men, women, children and assorted domestic animals --- are all in mortal danger! Their very existence is threatened by the unloaded weapon in that gun safe!

The gun owners you call "nuts" already have ways to legally acquire machine guns. I believe I am safe in saying that most long guns are for hunting, and not combat.

Small Democrat states like Massachusetts, perhaps? Very backwoods. Absolutely primitive education...yes?

Hillary Clinton's debate coach was John "Mr. Excitement" Kerry. Funny how that comes to mind after her defeat. Lurch himself didn't do well politically but lately has excelled at yacht-sailing. Maybe he can have one of those Democrat celebrity cruises. Hire the S.S. Minnow and see the sights.

Until the senior elected Democrats come out FORCEFULLY against this violence it must therefore be assumed they approve of it. Silence is assent.

Oh noes! That rotten Ginsburg died too soon! Dems are denied their chance to pack the court...which is the exact phrase they use if the GOP tries to fill a vacancy.

Justice Barrett apparently will be asked to participate in hearings over the 2020 election. If she recuses herself, and with John Roberts the lowlife backstabbing RINO that gave us Obummercare, it should make for a lively January ahead.

    I don't hate conservatives.

I think they're a lot of things and "wrong" is the nicest description of what their beliefs are.

    "Dishonest"..."racist"..."homophobic"..."misogynist"

Those are there too in varying degrees. Do I hate them for those things? No ...but it certainly doesn't endear them to me.

He's surely not alone here. Just more hilarious today than others, coming out with that one.

But back to the removal of the EC from the Constitution. Overall EC history SEEMS to indicate a dreadful fairness exists and it "favors" each side more or less equally. This monotonous equality gets forgotten every time the sniveling left loses. It's always a GOP-rigged election when they lose. The Dems can't envision honest elections because they never tried one.

Hah! That reminds me of a meme that's indicative of Joe Biden's presidential campaign efforts and the effectiveness of the DNC:

But seriously, the OP wondered what the Democratic National Committee should be doing and I repeat that it should be initiating and supporting the very democratic principles that it purports to embrace by letting Dem Party voters select the primaries winner instead of TELLING Dem Party voters who's going to be their nominee. First corrupt to the core Hillary and then Dementia Joe Biden; neither of which the average Dem Party voter WANTED. So first the DNC needs to fix their own in-house flaws.

And I have to repeat the glaring hypocrisy they demonstrate. Had the Benghazi Bitch been forced on us, just watch how the lunatic Left would heap high praises of how "the system worked as it should" and "the people have spoken" and other such rank bullshit.

As we are about to see in the next few weeks --- with what I'd call a 90% certainty --- is even greater levels of leftist violence after the Supreme Court again gets dragged into an area they openly don't want to go but had to in 2000 from Gore's nonsense. The left are snarling brats who didn't get their way.

Yep. The Left think they are entitled to the reins of power forever. I remember when Newt and Co. finally did something I wish would have happened during Reagan's tenure as POTUS. And that is to get the House out of the Democrat stranglehold they had for FORTY FOOKING YEARS!!!

And with spines of cooked suet, how long did they let their new 1,000-year march to glory actually last? I view the GOP before Trump as the spineless opposition, the Party of Cave. They surely aren't showing much love now that he's here. Aw. How dare he make them take a stand. He can't possibly be doing anything useful, just ask any leftist. He woke the Pubs out of their two-year siestas.

Trump is steamrolling his way into history as the man who finally cracked the media control over our national narrative. "Fake News!" is a rally cry precisely because it is true. The Associated Press and the other big-name news sites are all on notice. Readers again got reminded --- don't believe what the left feeds you.

It's what I've been saying all along since Reagan. The Lamestream press has been nothing more than the propaganda arm of the Democrat party. Just look at their coverage patterns of Nixon, Ford, Reagan, GHWB, GWB and Trump vs. Clinton and Obama. That's all the proof anyone with a brain needs.

As a citizen of course it is just as much as a issue for those who choose to live in the federal district. Try again, if having a Senator or Representative who can vote in floor votes in Congress is SO important then move a few blocks into Maryland or Virginia. I choose to live in a state, I have lived in several states. I choose not to live in DC.

You realize the only issue here is floor votes in the Congress, DC residents get to vote for their 3 Electors to the EC and their members of Congress sit on committees and vote in committees.
