How does she not see that people already know how far to the left she has helped take the progressive movement? They already know. They don't want it. Seems like that's why Biden won the primaries too.

She's trying to keep progressives relevant by threatening stupid things within the party.

She clearly knows her district very well, but not the country. The country is much more full of regular Joes and regular Jills. These folks see merit in things the traditional Democratic platforms have supported. But they aren't defund the police liberals. They aren't get rid of gasoline and cows liberals. They probably aren't reparations liberals either, even if they do understand systemic racism does exist in some places. They aren't round up all the guns liberals. You could probably even just call them moderates.

They aren't the liberals you see in the right-wing memes that are trying to scare you about liberals.

These are folks who just don't like the messaging and platform of the more rigid and conservative parts of the Republican party. They may not like the segments of the Republican party that are anti-minority. But, they could probably be convinced to support a moderate Republican, because in their hearts they are moderates too. These folks exist.

And they aren't voting for people like AOC. And if she she and the Democrats in general aren't careful, they won't be voting for Democrats at all.

I respect antiestablishmentarianism. AOC actually seems to want to build a better world and recognizes that the system we're in now doesnt lead to that.. Its prolly not entirely her fault for being so naive as to think an authoritarian collectivist establishment could ever accomplish that, as its what people are taught these days. What it comes down to is AOC would prolly support purging folks like me to build her better world, and frankly I find that quite a bit more respectable than the folks who would rather control me for the sake of their own power.

Give me liberty or give me death. AOC is prolly fine with that. The folks who run things now would take away both choices if they could.

 

No. But, with AOC's 'skill-set', maybe the best thing we could do is to stuff her stupid ass into an aid package, along with a few bottles of water purification tablets and some ready-to-eat meals, and send the box to a place where she and those contents would fit right in -- VENEZUELA!

The SJW's bicker and bitch about long-past slavery in predominately white countries, even though it ended in the United States 157 years ago! It didn't end in Great Britain until 1834, and in France, in 1848. But slavery had been practiced in Sub-Saharan Africa for thousands of years before that, and is reportedly still practiced in many parts of BLACK Africa to this day!

But here in America, everything is 'whitey's' fault as far as all these aggressively 'aggrieved' American blacks are concerned, totally forgetting that as a population, they've been given hiring and college enrollment preferences and government set-asides for minority-owned businesses that foreign-citizen blacks could only dream of.
