In keeping with the sentiment expressed by Shepard Smith and other media outlets who chose to stop covering Trump's dishonest rant about voter fraud on Thursday, I suggest we simply stop responding to similar assertions. It will be difficult not to react to the taunts that we "can't handle the truth" or similar accusations. But if we dignify these ridiculous claims with replies they will clutter the board with what otherwise could be honest, informed exchanges of opinion. I'm not saying we should ignore the topic of voter fraud altogether. We need to push back on baseless claims in general on the topic since they have become part of the Trumpian narrative. But let's try to avoid giving credibility to Trump's specific claims regarding this election concerning mail-in ballots since none is warranted.
Sounds like a good idea to me. We all know there is voter fraud anyways. The investigations and the courts will decide if it was sufficient to effect the election. Your silence would be helpful to spread the word uncontested. This will further cement the idea that the claims are true.
My silence is almost guaranteed here as a conservative since anything I say about liberals is considered flame-baiting. Thin skinned libs are a hoot. https://nypost.com/2020/11/06/michigan-gop-claims-software-issue-undercounted-trump-votes/
It would have helped had the public seen this.... Unemployment is half what it was six months ago. But as the Associated Press and Democrat Party Apologists Corps assures us --- long-term problems will loom to excuse our incompetent governance. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/11/06/unemployment-is-falling-long-term-unemployment-is-ballooning.html
The PA Court sided with Trump on one suit so your claim that they are all baseless is a lie. Sounds more like fear to me.
Oh yeah, how soon you forget when so many were claiming Trump colluded with Russia to beat Hillary. And Adam Schiff all over the TV for years claiming he had proof. The media going along with the claim. Now the media censures Trump for what he says and you want us to stop talking about the election.
Bingo. The Bogus Fraud Claims Are All About Giving Trump An Off-Ramp, Officials Say https://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/...-about-giving-trump-an-off-ramp-officials-say "Trump and his campaign have leveled accusations of large-scale voter fraud in Pennsylvania and other states that broke for Biden, so far without proof. But senior officials, campaign aides and allies told The Associated Press that overwhelming evidence of fraud isn’t really the point. The strategy to wage a legal fight against the votes tallied for Biden in Pennsylvania and other places is more to provide Trump with an off-ramp for a loss he can’t quite grasp and less about changing the election’s outcome, the officials said. They spoke to AP on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal strategy."
