Frankly, I don't think it is that shocking. I've seen much worse. This does seem like a joke. I haven't read the full account of it, though. I don't know how Sanders herself felt. If she genuinely found it funny too and shared the laughter, I don't think it's a big deal. If she was embarrassed and mortified, then Trump and Kelly were unkind to her. It all depends on how their relationship was. I mean, if it was an informal, joking relationship, in which Sanders would also say to Trump something like "what about this bromance; are you moving in with Kim?" then this is all innocent banter. If Sanders always felt intimidated and belittled, then it's harassment.

The woman abruptly dropped her lawsuit last week, leading to plenty of speculation about what happened. Some even suggested Trump may have paid her off to keep quiet.

But The Daily Mail has apparently obtained evidence that the lawsuit was scrapped because her allegations against Trump did not hold up under scrutiny: But DailyMail.com has learned that the real reason the suit was dropped is because the claims were simply NOT true.
A source with knowledge of the controversial case told DailyMail.com: “Katie Johnson’s account had been believable and compelling right up until the last minute.”

But new information emerged that suggested she had not been telling the truth.

“Ultimately it was discovered that Donald Trump’s name had been inserted into this, he was not involved whatsoever. After that she had no credibility.”

Relevant court papers “offered no corroborative evidence that her claims were true,” according to the report .

When the claims first surfaced in the lawsuit, filed in civil court in April, Trump’s attorneys dismissed the allegations as a “hoax” intended to harm Trump politically. The controversial child rape allegation garnered some media attention.

Me too. This is part of the "bigger tent" effect of the Trump GOP. The party has encouraged more women and minorities to run for and win elected offices over the last 4 years. The "approachability" factor gives a new image to the stodgy, dusty old GOP.

She went on her father's show absolutely gushing about how awesome and fun Trump is. Take her at her word. I can be playful with men. It's not sexual harassment if the supposed victim is in on the joke.

We should never assign a victim status to someone who isn't victimized. Not everyone has the same level of playfulness. We've gotten way too serious, which is probably part of our division problem.
