I had an assignment to work in Kazakhstan once. It was about a 24h trip to the location from from Houston. Office was dominated by Brits, Yanks were few and far between. I couldn't find coffee for a week. Had an early morning headache without it the entire time. The tea wasn't working. Day 3 I think I found some coffee but no way to brew it, so I just tossed it into the hot water and learned that if you just let it steep long enough the grounds will all saturate with water and stay on the bottom. The first cup or two I couldn't wait that long. I just filtered the grounds with my teeth.

Finally by the second week I found the Yank coffee pot. That was the beginning of one my life's greatest adventures that culminated in a trip to the Dolomites with an amazing view of a blue cone of light reflected into the sky from Lake Molveno.

 

the white gentleman had the right to stand his ground in states such as florida and texas.

he was peacefully protesting until the black guy used violence with a deadly weapon.

 

that was clearly a federal agent, secondly freedom of speech should never be met with violence.

According to liberals it's okay to punch a "nazi". This is the problem with this type of rhetoric is it encourages violence. Of course what the white guy did was wrong and should be condemned, but he was just being a drunken idiot. If you don't like something someone is saying just exit the situation. If he follows then defend yourself. I understand liberals hate racism but encouraging people, especially black people, to commit violence because their feelings hurt is not good for society. Due to overwhelming crime statistics, people already have a view of black men being violent. This only furthers that view. This is a first world society. We deal with issues with words and laws. liberals do not think that, I have been quite clear on that, violence is not the answer, the answer was to call the cops unless he became a real threat and self defense was needed - maybe some liberals think that, not all - just like some Republicans think violence is the answer, both are wrong

if the drunk man was black and talking sit, I would say the same thing if the one bashing him with a can along the side of the head was white - I would say the black drunk guy was asking for it, but it was wrong for the white guy to resort to violence, I do not want to live in a society where anyone that feels disrespected by a drunk man can resort to violence without consequences, both should have been arrested over this

Nah! For starters, you haven't a clue how drunk the guy was! Secondly, getting pickled produces different attitude with different types of liquor! A beer drunk farts and burbs, a wino sleeps, a Tequila drunk is fearless and so forth and so on..

Even at that, you don't smack a person for smack talking, that just makes the drunk better then the attacker.. And if you beat down a drunk while sober, well that's cowardly

Sorry, but there is no excuse for violence.

Three guys are drinking in a bar when a drunk comes in, staggers up to them, and points at the guy in the middle, shouting, "Your mom's the best sex in town!" Everyone expects a fight, but the guy ignores him, so the drunk wanders off and bellies up to the bar at the far end.
