Black teen accused of stealing phone in viral incident at NYC hotel says he's shell shocked

White woman annoys black kid, nobody is hurt...systemic racism, send her to jail and destroy her life!!!

Hours of video showing black people destroying, looting and stealing from stores, burning cop cars, attacking and shooting people...it’s racist to arrest them because it’s just an expression of their feelings!!!!

This is NOT national news. It’s a local blip. Guess how many people were shot in inner cities during the few minutes she “attacked” this kid?

Im watching the local news right now and they’re reporting on a black man who attacked and robbed a white woman outside a grocery store then stole her car. She’s in the hospital. NOT a big story. Wonder why.

 

Two wrongs don't make a right. This woman acted criminally and needs to be arrested and prosecuted. The people who looted and committed arson acted criminally and need to be arrested and prosecuted. The people involved in shootings acted criminally and need to be arrested and prosecuted. These are different level offenses and if convicted, these different criminals will get different sentences. This woman, likely a fine and 30 days in jail or something (I'd say probation but she does have priors). The shooters, several years. But the fact that in society there are shooters doesn't mean that someone who commits a lesser crime shouldn't be prosecuted. And you are talking racism; I'm not. If you read my first post here, I said that I don't see how to peg her for racism. I'm not the one pulling the race card. Regardless of the races involved, she clearly acted criminally.

 

OF COURSE they should all be prosecuted. But the key here is the uproar over this, let’s face it, minor incident. No one was actually hurt and No one is saying she should get off.

HOWEVER, there are Democrat leaders who openly said it’s OK for the rioting to continue and for the police to do nothing. And in CA many crimes aren’t even being investigated at all, with barely a peep from Democrats saying how batshit crazy that is.

It’s the double standard that is alarming.

Accusing every white person involved in an altercation with a non-white person of racism is racial profiling. Duh

If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. As all the libs see is skin color, everything looks like racism to them.

 

Obligated? No, that is not what I said. But it would have been the fastest, easiest, most definitive way to defuse/de-escalate the situation and it would have been a reasonable logical thing to do. But it's a lot more fun to cry "racism" and "victim" and get 15 minutes of fame. He never would have made the news or the talk shows if he'd just showed her it was his phone.

Because there's such a high demand for hate crimes against blacks, and such a scarce supply, that the leftist media has to report every nothingburger that almost even sorta looks like a hate crime if you tilt your head and squint.

Hate crimes = money and the MSM Is going to be taking a huge hit in a few weeks. The fact that the MSM has to use the same clickbait strategy as horrible websites posting “look what so and so looks like today”, is disturbing.

 

Looking at the picture of the woman she appears to me to be black. And reading the reports I don't see all the "WHITE woman" descriptors which if it IS a white on black incident is normally the lead line.

 

This one says she has identified as Puerto Rican. But for the author the whole thing is apparently just an opportnity to promote racism:

 

Why is her race relevant? She committed a crime and should face the appropriate charges. The only people here making pages of excuses or bring up other events were the same ones that always try and turn the black victim into the aggressor.

Well Puerto Rican is a nationality there's lots of black Peurto Ricans.

 

Nothing has been presented showing this was racial or profiling although likely that doesn’t meet the legal bar requirement.

Charged, absolutely, with a hefty fine and possibly counseling which is preferable to jail time.

The right wing has gotten as obsessed with race as much as they accuse the left. But I guess that is true of most things.

 

This cell phone story is stirring up more liberal feelings than the 4,115 people people who were shot in Chicago last year. It's odd how they can see victims when there really aren't any and then ignore the victims who actually are victims. They seem to only care when certain circumstances exist.

 

Tell that to the OP. Tell that to Mayor Diblasio. And me being on the right I comment on the observed obsession and quick to jump on it not declaring one of my own.

 

PuertoRican is not far down on the victim scale as black so whoops. Goes to show how much power Democrats have in promoting victimization and identity politics. They are tearing the country apart at the seams gleefully.
