I'm likewise grateful to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but nothing Trump has done has been any more than what any president would have done and in many cases he has done much less. Even with these vaccines, his admin has bungled the rollout. As I said before, he only gets credit for successes if he also gets the blame for failures. Mr. "I don't take any responsibility" doesn't seem interested in accepting his role in the problems, so I don't see any reason to think he had any hand in solving them.

Honestly, I think Pence probably deserves some credit for this, getting us to this point while having to fight through both Trump and Kushner. I can only imagine how maddening that was.

I want to thank President Trump for convincing me that the Chinese virus was a Democrats hoax. It saved me months of fear and anxiety.
    Thank you Mr, President!

That's the stupidest **** I have read in a long time. Go ride around in a COVID transport ambulance and say that to my face.

OK, so let me correct it:
I want to thank President Trump for convincing me that Mexico will pay for the wall. It made me very happy to think we don't have pay for this strong, beautiful, fantastic and magnificent wall.
    Thank you Mr, President!.

I agree that he deserves credit for operation warp speed. Its not like everything he did was terrible.

its just that the ratio between good things and terrible things is like his Election Law suit record somewhere around 1 to 62. And that doesn't take into account the terrible way he went about doing both.

are you denying well into the spring Trump was claiming it was a democratic hoax? And when campaigning he claimed if Biden won nobody would hear about covid after Nov 4 anymore? (okay political hyperbole but too many of the faithful actually believe this particular strain of trumpian crap).

I also got the Moderna vaccine. I slept a little more than usual the first 24 hours after the shot, but I had no other side effects. The soreness in my shoulder was gone in 2 days. The soreness lasted 5 or 6 days when I got a shingles vaccination a while back. Did you notice anything after getting the shot?

It's amazing that people can't let go of their politics in the face of good news. These are the first steps to getting our economy back, our schools back, and our normal lives back. It is the first steps to saving a lot of lives too. Sometimes we should just let that crap go.

I was looking at a YouTube video of a live concert made in 2018. Watching all those people congregated together and having a great time drove home how much I wanted our lives back. And so seeing all these people getting vaccinated was hugely uplifting after what has been the most depressing year of my life.

I want to be able to do this again!

I think I may have misunderstood this post. I'm still trying to figure out what he means. Sorry about that!

One thing I did notice was that it was the most painless shot I've ever had. It was a 25ga needle and I swear I never even felt it. Having said that, my shoulder is pretty dang sore today. I expect it to get better and better.

I was supposed to see TOOL play on pi day last year... I had just epic seats for me and my kids. They called it off the day before. Of all the things that hurt last year, THAT one really stung. Can't wait to return to that!!!

The loser trump did nothing other than the thing you righties always bitch about, he threw tons of money at it and crossed his fingers.
The timeline for the vaccine was greatly shortened not by the loser trump ad our tax dollars but by new tech.
Again the loser trump did nothing but take credit.

My 94 year old father just inbetween shots. He's in a home and I am seriously relieved that in a couple of days he'll be innoculated. He doesn''t have much time left and I'm just glad he won't be going out that way. We live in toronto, as a senior citizen with a heart condition I don't expect to get mine vaccination until late spring.

I didn't feel it either. Nothing. I hope the soreness wears off as fast as it did for me.

That sucks about the concert you had to miss. I took my wife and daughter to see the Eagles in 2016 with great seats right up near the front, and we went and saw Fleetwood Mac the next year. Great times.

Criminy sakes, man! Trump is gone in 3 days!

Do you think anybody cared who the president was on VJ Day?

It's good news for the country. Let's just embrace it and forget the stupid politics.
