    I think the left extremely over exaggerated the size of QAnon following.
    I’m a right-leaning moderate and the first time I’ve heard about this group was on this forum when someone started a thread about them, which was based on leftist sources.
    No right leaning individual that I personally know ever attempted to introduce me to this following and the only time I ever discussed this movement in real life was with a leftist relative.

    Maybe I just live in my own bubble, but I think there isn’t much to that movement. You got one clown dressed like a Viking who hasn’t done much real damage, but whose appearance is used as a cover for all followers of the movement. In my book, Qanon, BLM, and Antifa are the type of nuts, and no rational person would want their name to be associated with any one of these groups.

    Progressives and leftist media don’t seem to realize that they are pushing millions of conservatives who tend to hoard real weapons into the arms of conspiracy theorists on the internet. What they are doing now will result in the decades of domestic terrorism and lone mass shooters, yet no one seem to be alarmed by this trend. Killing Parler is not an answer!

    He just doesn't have any leadership skills. He doesn't want people to challenge him. He has no intellectual curiosity. His communication skills are abysmal. His rhetoric is way too divisive. He trolls people.

    There was a lot of chatter about armed protests in all 50 State Capitols, supposedly today, the 17th. That I know, nothing has happened. So, all bark and no bite? With all the awareness from law enforcement, reinforced presence (20,000 national guards) and people losing their jobs and being arrested in the wake of the events on January 6th, maybe there won't be any other trouble.

    I don't like Biden's and Harris' stance that we can't bow in fear to domestic terrorists so the inauguration must proceed as usual, outdoors. We are experiencing unusual times. It just takes one crazy person, maybe even among law enforcement or National Guard, for an assassination attempt. I think the inauguration should happen indoors, in a very simple way, just Biden + Harris + a Bible + the Chief Justice, in a very secure location. Given the virus, it won't be a regular inauguration anyway. So why not just take it indoors for more security? American democracy has been attacked enough, we don't need the sad display of an assassination attempt (and God forbid it is successful, but even the sheer attempt would be a huge blow to the United States). There is no need to display some sort of macho bravery. Just do the safe thing.
