For political reasons the left would have you believe man made CO2 is going to destroy the world. But the real reason they would have us believe that is true, is because they want a CO2 tax, so they have more taxpayer money to waste on left wing nonsense. Look at the actual numbers. According the latest number man made CO2 amounts to 35 billion tons every year. And the total weigh of the atmosphere is 5.5 quadrillion tons. So if you divide 35 billion tons by 5.5 quadrillion tons you get .000006. That is 6 parts in a million, which is almost meaningless. Please share these numbers, so the left wing democrats in Congress wont be able to raise your taxes.

Your logic is not correct. The percentage of a substance has nothing to do with the effect of that substance. If I place 150 milligrams of strychnine (a fatal dose) in a quarter pounder that is .000001 percent of the burger which is almost meaningless, but it would kill me dead.

Perhaps you're unaware, but carbon taxes can be designed to be revenue-neutral. That's what Exxon-Mobil backs (link). That's a naive analysis. You're given no basis for your claim that the only purpose of a carbon tax is to obtain more revenue.
