    80 million DIDN'T vote for him. He lost both popular votes and has been impeached twice. Why do you still worship at his feet?

    There is no such thing as a popular vote. Only the 50 individual votes for the EC matter.

    If there was a popular vote Trump would have had rallies in California.

    Go educate yourself.

    Because you tried to overthrow it. This is the last and in many cases, the most effective way in which authoritarians take over everything. Force, coercion, murder of anyone who disagrees, after which the country becomes a permanent shithole.

    Dem policies are ALREADY making everyone safer, happier, and richer. But lying Republican propaganda tries to say things are bad and getting worse. A well-known tactic of the autocrats, justifying their tyranny by creating a false crisis. This wouldn't be the first time a small minority overthrew a much larger and better-functioning government to establish a poorly running and oppressive dystopia run for the benefit of a small and tyrannical cadre, indeed that describes most countries on the globe and always has. It is the first time it was tried here and just for that reason it should be dealt with rather firmly, even harshly, to show that we will not tolerate it.

    I want them incarcerated for a long time. I especially want whichever Reps and Senators supported them to be arrested and tried as well

    insurrections may not make you angry, but it does many

    if Trump loses in 2024, it could be worse - would that make the right happy?

    do you think Trump has learned his lesson and would not incite more violence in 2024 when he loses?

    any Republican that lets him off now, is responsible for any blood shed after Trump loses in 2024, cause you and I both know Trump will not stop, if he gets away with it now, that to him is just a green light to do it again

    Why is it, all the posts that are posting in anger, are all those who support the Capitol rioters? Those rioters towards the USA were not from the left of politics.

    They need to use words like marxist, communist, etc, to make them as enemies in their minds. They've been doing that for 30 yrs.

    Uh Democrats blocked and obstructed EVERYTHING Trump tried to do, but it didn't make us crazy with anger at Democrats.

    If I understand correctly, you agree with the OP and you are trying to justify it. But in the Harris-Biden era, Republicans have not had much of chance to block EVERYTHING Harris-Biden tries to do. So why are you so angry now?

    I'm still not convinced Trump wanted the rioters to storm the Capitol. He did say March peacefully as in have a peacefull protest.

    dems tried to work with Trump, Trump blocked himself with his fragile ego, Trump could not even work with republicans, let alone democrats

    the problem right now is not dems or repubs, it's the far right Trumpists that block everything from both parties, they want 100% wins, no compromise, and that will never happen in a divided congress

    Trump saw the other side being able to claim a win on anything as a loss to him

    dems even offered Trump money for his wall, Trump blew it

    dems wanted to do a great infrastructure deal, Trump blew it

    dems wanted to end prohibition of Marijuana, Trump blew it

    all would of been huge wins for Trump, historic wins
