Apparently you didn’t watch the video. If you had you wouldn’t have asked such a silly question. He wasn’t much a threat handcuffed with Chauvin kneeling on his neck

So the officer was literally doing what he was trained to do with a violent criminal who chose not to be peacefull when they put him in the police car.

Why should the cop be punished for doing his job?

If George Floyd was concerned about staying alive he would have sat peacefully in the police car. He chose to be violent which resulted in his death. He was also overdosing on drugs.

George Floyd is responsible for George Floyd dying.

If he was not a threat they would have left him in the police car and he still may be alive today.

What kind of threat was he handcuffed in the back of a cop car?

They cannot transport him when he is thrashing around. He can kick the back of the seats, etc. He was removed from the sedan so that he could be transported in a van more suited for that purpose.

Hand-cuffed and on the ground. Why was the knee on the neck still necessary? The police hierarchy say it was not necessary.

Is that so? Hopefully the court will determine the facts there.

Yeh....a genghis khan wanabee, ain't name calling, just a fact about human nature. Law enforcement needs to be very aware of it.

Watch the show cops and you will see them take people out from police cars for kicking etc.

Do the cops kneel on their neck while they are face down for 8+ minutes??? Didn’t think so.

Couldn't agree more. I think the videos favor the prosecution; to me, hands in pockets and Chauvin's general lack of concern for life shows depraved indifference. But you're right. Everybody sees different things.

    That's cynical fear mongering.

Too bad you didn't catch all if the testimony in particular the cross examination which revealed asphyxia can also be caused by drug overdose especially fentanyl.

Perhaps. But it's also almost certainly accurate. But we won't know until the upcoming events unwind however they're going to unwind.

I’m no expert, but I am pretty sure that if one takes a lethal dose of an opioid, death comes rather quickly. If Floyd had consumed the drugs before he bought the cigarettes with a counterfeit $20 bill, he would have been dead before the police arrived.

Jimi Hendrix didn’t die from a drug overdose, but rather because they placed him on the stretcher in such a way, that when he puked, his air passageways became blocked, thus asphyxia.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office’s autopsy report, released in June last year, classified Floyd’s death as a homicide and said it was caused by “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint and neck compression.”

The report also stated that Floyd tested positive for COVID-19 in April 2020 and that he had fentanyl and methamphetamine in his system when he died — but didn’t draw a causal link between the drugs and his death.

The doctor who treated Floyd the night he died in May 2020 testified on Monday. He said that, given the information he had at the time of Floyd’s death, he believed Floyd “likely” died of asphyxia.

People have different tolerances for different drugs. And other drugs in your system even in relative small quantities can cause adverse reactions that you might otherwise not have had. A lot of people have taken fentanyl without harm. You know what Narcan is? Why would cops carry it in many states and cities if opioid overdose was instant death?

They were trained and taught to continue to kneel on a handcuffed person who hadn't moved for about three minutes because the person was dead? Really? THAT is taught? Hmmm....I suspect you might be a tad incorrect on that claim.

Well, the Extreme Expert just said fentanyl wouldn't have anything to do with Floyd's death.

He said even a healthy person would have died from what Floyd suffered at the hands of police......and he knows way more than you do...

How many times are you going to ignore
    Procedure/regulations II
A, The conscious neck restraint may be used against a subject who is actively resisting.

    Floyd was dead!

You are continually writing BS. Chauvin ignored all of Regulations II

In fact under cross exam the head guy said he'd had to restrain some one in such a fashion for longer than Chauvin did with out any ill effects

Except both said otherwise under cross examination.
