The obvious answer is to ban Assault Buses. They really need to take those weapons of war off the streets!

You choose to miss the point.
    No one is surprised.

I think banning trolls would do better personally.

You're fully aware that I did.
The fact you chose to ignore it means you know it is sound.

    What did I ignore?

I think anything that can be done to spare the life of a child and to give them the greatest opportunity to advance is the route we should take.

You are the one saying let’s ignore one thing because something else is worse.

Who is ostracising somebody by saying they can't have guns?

WHY do so many Conservatives act as if having guns is the end all and be all of life? They seem to think they are a fundamental part of living and you just CAN'T get along without them

Might be because they understand why the right to own and use them is specifically protected by the constitution.

    Absolutely.

The problem is never the law-abiding.

The problem is that with guns, a tiny minority can kill an incredible number of people.

The US has long since passed the point where the proliferation of guns is detrimental to the safety of the population.

So you disagree with innocence before proving guilt? If not you need to clarify your comment. Only irrational and frenzied people want to handle the mass shootings by digging into a person's private mental health issues. Reminds me of the Hunch Back of Notre Dame. Are you familiar with that story? You and your "think a like" buddies should run around with torches rounding up folks who have a mental illness and throw them in the dungeons.

It has nothing to do with innocence vs guilt.

How pathetic. You have to reduce your ‘argument’ to playing with semantics to save face...

    Bye bye...

It's what I said in the first place.

My links backed up EVERYTHING I said.

You ignorantly moved the goal posts.

I just moved them back for ya.

Your numbers didn't add up then nor do they now.

Run along and try harder next time, m'kay?

Why then do you support gun control laws that only affect the law abiding?

    I would love to.

Except that nearly all mass murderers were law-abiding citizens before they slaughtered a lot of people.

If you can guarantee me the mental stability of gun owners for life, I'm willing to give up promoting tough gun laws.

So, you support laws that only serve to restrict the rights of the law abiding - the huge majority of which you agree satisfy their duty as related to their exercise of their right to keep and bear arms - because a smaller than minuscule % of them might become a mass murderer...
... even though those laws do nothing to stop that smaller than minuscule % from becoming mass murderers.
    Got it.

    That's where you're wrong.

Gun restrictions have a beneficial effect in all Western countries where they are applied.

Unfortunately, they were implemented after terrible tragedies (Brevik, Tarrant, Lepine, Bryant, Bataclan massacre), but the results are undeniable.

Only in the US no measures are taken even after terrible mass killings like Sandy Hook, Las Vegas or the Pulse Shooting.

It makes you wonder if human life is less valuable in the US.

No democracy in the West wants to follow the doctrine of the pro 2A who claim that the more guns in circulation, the higher the level of security.

But fortunately, things are slowly changing.

You cannot demonstrate this to be true.

    And thus:
You support laws that only serve to restrict the rights of the law abiding - the huge majority of which you agree satisfy their duty as related to their exercise of their right to keep and bear arms - because a smaller than minuscule % of them might become a mass murderer...
... even though those laws do nothing to stop that smaller than minuscule % from becoming mass murderers.

You are the one that seems to not know the legislation that has been written and passed through the years.
    Do your homework.

You need to look up the legislation
    Then disprove it.
    So you "know" nothing! Shultz
