I definitely see that police departments control the flow of information to their benefit. If something's f***y, it's a stone wall of "we can't comment on ongoing investigations". That's bullshit because they comment on ongoing investigations all the time. If there's somebody they want to crucify, it's, "oh here is our suspect and his criminal history and this incriminating photo / video".

Yes and I am sure had a non-force let's talk officer had arrived that person who was stabbed and bleeding out would be comforted by the fact the the officer was talking to the person who had just killed them instead of stopping them cold.

 

She was using a lethal weapon and slicing and dicing can kill. Are you REALLY going to assert that the office should have allowed her to stab the other girl? How many times before he used the appropriate force to stop her? I guess the officer should have just let her go home if she didn't want to be arrested and they could have gone to her house later and see if she would allow them to arrest her then?

 

After looking at this further, the girls were there to jump her on her property. That sorta makes her an armed home dweller using a knife to fend off her multiple attackers (disparity of force) and then being shot dead by the cops for defending her life against her trespassing attackers.

Maybe this will go somewhere. If people showed up at my house, trespassing on my property to jump me, it would not be a knife I would come out with; it would be an AR-15. I may be on this dead girl’s side now.

Except she went inside, called the cops, waited, then came back outside with a knife as the cops showed up and there was zero threat to her at that time. No threat means you can't use deadly force..
If you escape the danger, you don't have the right to go charging back into it and claim self defense. You become the aggressor in that situation.

 

Was deadly force being used against her? Did the officers know that when they arrived? Were they supposed to let her stab the girl and then ask why she did it?

Honestly the best way to tell whether police actions are justified or not, just shooting from the hip\rule of thumb style, is based on whether or not they immediately release the body and dash cam footage.

If they do solid bet its justified and they released the tapes immediately because they have nothing to hide. When they slow walk it, 9/10 times there is something damning in the tape

Regardless, there was no activity until the officer showed up and then all carnage broke out. They all saw the officer arrive and if your scenario rang true, the person should have let the officer handle the situation. Taking a knife to repel the invaders right when an officer arrives, makes you the assailant as the officer has NO clue to who is who when first arriving. Everyone is the suspect until further investigation but the person attempt to do bodily harm which forced the officer to react with lethal force.

Why is it you all go right to racist?! Cops are called to situations where many times there are drugs, alcohol, rush of endorphins and generally angry people. That's white, black, brown, yellow, pink and purple. Most times people are out of their minds and cops have to deal with it so calm your racial bullshit yourself!!

 

Dont think the cop knew any of that, all he saw was someone trying to stab an unarmed girl. I don’t fault him for the decision he made. I just wish we had a reliable non lethal way to stop someone immediately.
