I love my Guns and I love having a lot of them and 1000's of rounds of Ammo and I want to buy MANY! more Guns and everyone of them is worth a lot more than I paid for them. You live in a rural area, BLM and Antifa are relatively new Liberal extremist organizations and they're mostly in urban areas, so it doesn't surprise me that you've never encountered any of them, but Liberalism is like Cancer and it spreads to area's of the United States that still believe in the rule of Law. You might have never been a victim of violent crime, but lots of innocent law abiding people are and I'm pretty sure they wished they'd had an equalizer if the form of a Gun, before being raped or murdered.

 

The firearm is the great equalizer. Laws and cops and rights are important, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter if someone imposes their will upon you whether it was illegal or unlawful for them to do so or whether the cops will arrive to take a report on it or not.. Its still just about whether you yourself can stop them or not. For those that aren't body builders or martial arts masters, a firearm puts us on equal terms, in the dynamic of lethal force, with everyone else. ...except for folks that choose not to arm themselves of course, as is their right.

You have laws against criminals and lunatics having guns. And you ENFORCE them. IMO if a gun dealer sold a gun to a guy who shouldn't have had one who then went on to kill several people then he should stand in the dock next to him (or replace him if he's dead). The vast majority of gun merchants are like locksmiths. They seem to have honesty in their very bones but that's largely because they seem to know how much harm can be done when one goes bad.

So, we know who is buying all of those guns: Gun nuts (most likely most of them Trump voters), who already have a sizable gun stash at home.

This also blows the argument out of the water that guns are for personal protection. If that were the case, the increase of gun sales would go along with an increase in gun ownership.

In contrast, the increased gun sales are purely for hobby purposes. Of course, some of these millions of new guns later make it into the hands of criminals and the mentally ill. We all know what happens then.

 

It’s good news because it’s sends a clear message to democrats and the regime who woukd be gun grabbers that the more they talk about bans and mandatory buybacks and confiscation etc., our response is to buy all the more of them and proliferate them to the extent that their ending democracy and the republic as we know it and declaring martial law will be the only shot they have at getting them. The 2A is probably the single most non negotiable item in the constitution for many Americans or right up there with religious liberty and free speech and it protects those and everything else.

 

Well one thing is for sure, they aren’t spending all that money just to hand those guns over or sell them “back” to the government so that only the law has the best guns; especially since the law is so protested and many quitting.

Gosh darn it all. And I was so hoping the only people in America to have the best guns would be the police; whom we protest for shooting us.

Again, that isn’t good news — it is fairly bad that people feel like they need to arm themselves.

You have also failed to make the correlation that anything Democrats are doing is causing this, people seem motivated to buy based on events — like school shootings more than who is president.

The rest of your post is just emotional filled fearmongering.
No one is trying to prohibit you from having your chosen religion
No one is trying to declare martial law
No one is trying to take your guns
No one is trying to impose on your free speech

The issue is many don’t seem to understand what each of those protections actually do. Freedom of religion doesn’t allow you to force your chosen religion onto others and free speech only applies to government action.

 

That is what the US does best, arm the world...
