Are NYPD officers rushing to retire amid city’s anti-cop climate?

All this discussion of police and their performance....... I can't help but think of an incident in NYC a few years ago when two Swedish policemen were vacationing there and a fight broke out on the subway. The Swedish cops handled it like good psychologists, which is something Americans are not accustomed to.

Now I find a video clip of two policemen in Norway and how they handled a raging drunk who tried to kick them among other things. Turn on subtitles.





Our US cops could use some retraining!

 

The murder/violent crime rate in Sweden is a quarter of what it is in America, it's an overwhelmingly white country (94% with its' black population practically zero) with loads of space and wealth and whilst loads of people have guns they rarely use them for anything but deer.

If that were true, you wouldn't have 5400 NYPD officers leaving the force. I have NEVER seen ANY left wing media or video supporting ANY cops. But they will try and make thugs out to be victims despite the fact that law enforcement was in the right.

The left shows virtually zero support for police. Saying the left supports good cops is what's fake news. Saying the left supports good cops is meaningless. Where's the actual support? It's non existent. Defunding police and cutting police budgets is hurting good cops, not supporting them. But keep typing some words on a computer screen if it makes you feel better.

It's also fake news that the right thinks all cops are good. The right is just aware that the percentage of bad ones is incredibly small and thus they support the police in general as a result. It's the left that ignores the data/facts and goes off emotions based on media lies.

The city government is listening to who pay if paying the bills. Typical right wing propaganda that "accountability" is unreasonable.

They are just making room for better recruits who actually do the job they are being paid for by the citizens. Cops are civil servants, paid by the people and work for the people. It's not as if you paid a gardener or plumber to let him do whatever with no accountability.

 

Hardly anybody hits the news of having done a good job. Maybe a top athlete, but certainly not a plumber or a hairdresser. Doctors preforming open heart surgery... I don't recall them on the news either.

How many live media reports did you hear about how athlete's, Doctors, hairdressers, plumbers, and dogs are mostly racist, need to be defunded, while they are being murdered and abused on the streets just about EVERY DAY?
