Again, Vance has gone easy on the Trump crime family in the past (see Trump SoHo). And we know that the Trump Org has done things in the past that likely involve tax fraud, bank fraud, defrauding investors, or some combination of the three. Also, since when is it illegal to serve as or run for President if you've been charged with a felony?

Trump Lawyers: NY DA Has No Plans to Charge Former President
Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. does not currently plan to charge former President Donald Trump or the Trump Organization as part of Vance's office probe into "hush money" and real estate manipulations, Politico reports one of Trump's attorneys as saying.

Ronald Fischetti told Politico that he asked Vance's office last week about details of the charges it may file.

But Fischetti said that Vance's team did say they were looking at filing charges against the Trump Organization and some of its employees over alleged failure to pay taxes on corporate benefits and perks, according to Politico. According to previous reports, those perks look to involve only a few executives and include cars and apartments.

Except what the prosecutors ACTUALLY said was that they don't plan on charging him in THIS indictment and that their investigation into him is ONGOING. So, no, that's not the same thing as saying there won't be charges against said conman and thief.

Trump was the one who extorted Ukraine, not Biden. Biden enforced US policy, a policy echoed by ALL of our allies, when speaking with Ukraine, and the attorney you are thinking about wasn't even investigating his son at the time.

You mean when he was a private individual and the business in question was only discussing the possibility of an equity split that included him? Yeah . . . there's nothing remotely illegal about that.

He's been caught evading taxes on more than one occasion and has been forced by the courts to pay. We do know that the Trump Organization provided one set of number for condo occupancy/sales for tax purposes and another when pursuing loans. We know the Trump crime family children knowingly provided false sales numbers to encourage more investors, which they had to settle over. I don't know if the charges in this case will end up going all of the way to Trump by the end, since he's an expert in covering his tracks and avoiding responsibility for his actions, but it will be a minor miracle if there are no charges of tax fraud against the Trump Organization or its executives by the times this case is over.

 

So many "Trump haters" (aka, anyone who dares challenge the Dear Leader) end up getting sued is because Trump is addicted to frivolous lawsuits and has a burning hatred for free speech. He's literally had his attorneys argue in court that it should be illegal to call his building plans ugly. He, notably, tends to fail in the lawsuits against "Trump haters." You can find better role models than this conman. You should try.

 

Trump owes taxpayers many, many times that amount for money wasted on his record number of presidential golf outings and overcharging Secret Service to stay at his own properties, for the costs of repairing the Capitol after the violence he incited there, for all the money and jobs lost to his retarded trade wars, and perhaps for the economic upset and all the death and suffering his incompetent, bumbling response to the pandemic brought about. Among other things, I'm sure.
