And the press did NOT try to minimize her death, in fact a great deal of sympathy was expressed that her death was the result of being misguided by lies. I'm not sure what direction your desperate attempt at diversion is supposed to be taking.

The violent assault upon the Capitol, the trials of the goons who perpetrated it, and the testimony of the police trying to defend it against them that will be heard in a Congressional hearing are pertinent.
