Being a lay-person with little to no understanding of all things-economic, you probably don't really the definition of a "successful economy" is one in which everyone becomes better-off to some degree without making others worse off.

And, being a lay-person with little to no understanding of all things-economic, you probably don't understand that we're talking about the long-term, and not the short-term. Economists rarely talk about the short-term.

In the short-term, yeah, people lose their jobs, get laid-off or fired, but that's the short-term.

Clearly, they want the above groups as uneducated and helpless as possible.

Why they even bother trying to hide what they're doing at this point, is the great mystery.

PS: I did laugh at the inclusion of Asians though. We all know how Asians struggle at school

Well, when you want to keep a large group of (brown) people as your helpless, adoring, dependent, voting pets .. the best way to do it is to disenfranchise them. Curb their progress!

At the same time they're terrified that some will. This new move will ensure that's not possible.

In the context of the long-term US economy, the phrase "successful economy" looks especially ridiculous.

Bush's "no child left behind" already did this

which really meant, drag them along even if they can't pass a grade

    Almost precisely the opposite.

The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB)[1][2] was a U.S. Act of Congress that reauthorized the Elementary and Secondary Education Act; it included Title I provisions applying to disadvantaged students.[3] It supported standards-based education reform based on the premise that setting high standards and establishing measurable goals could improve individual outcomes in education. The Act required states to develop assessments in basic skills. To receive federal school funding, states had to give these assessments to all students at select grade levels.

The act did not assert a national achievement standard—each state developed its own standards.[4] NCLB expanded the federal role in public education through further emphasis on annual testing, annual academic progress, report cards, and teacher qualifications, as well as significant changes in funding.[3]

If the parents won't push them along, then schools are forced to 'drag'. Unless you think they should be left behind by their parents AND their schools?

I don't understand media literacy. I never heard of it before.

So what does a media literate person like yourself do?

If they can't count they can't dispute vote tabulation. That's gonna make it a hell of a lot easier for the Democrat Party to function.

It's a shame that a student going through school should learn to read and write and do arithmetic. What is wrong with today's society Reading, Writing, and arithmetic is the way to go. Nobody wants to go through life as a stupid idiot or have low IQs Do we? Think about it.

I don't think race would have anything to do with it and it shouldn't. In California students have to take an exit exam and pass it in order to graduate. If they don't pass the Exit Exam, They don't graduate. That's all there is to it. I don't know what graduate requirements there would be in other states or other countries.

If blacks dont score as well as whites, under CRT such testing is by definition, systemic racism.

California has already done away with SAT and ACT testing to get into college. Blacks dont do as well so CRT considers such testing to be systemic racism. They just havent gotten to testing in High School yet.
