    Here's just one example:

We're supposed to believe that after the economy-destroying COVID lockdowns, historic wildfires, massive increases in violent crime, huge unemployment, businesses fleeing the state, and homelessness everywhere, Gavin Newsome actually *increased* his percentage of support in the Recall vote (63.9%) from his 2018 race of (61.9%) ?!?!?

Democrats enjoy laziness. That’s why they like the mail in ballot. We are talking about a group of people that get mad over not getting enough government handouts, having to pay for their own health insurance before the age of 26, having to pay for their own schooling they agreed to, having to earn a higher wage rather than just forcing their employers to give it to them.

and now… they don’t even want to get off the couch to go vote for their free stuff

The only way that any democrat can achieve anything is by lying, cheating, and rigging the system.

Mail-in is only temporary until they can recruit enough psychics to determine who people voted for...;)

Too much to expect a LibHATER to do any actual RESEARCH!

    https://edition.cnn.com/2021/09/14/politics/california-recall-exit-polls/index.html

The DEMOGRAPHIC data shows a DECLINE in the white electorate from 2018 at 63% to barely a majority in 2021.

That ALIGNS with the demographic data from the other elections in nationwide.

Boomers are reaching their Sell By dates and Millennials are now the MAJORITY voting demographic.

That helps to EXPLAINS why Newsom has a LARGER majority than before since there are FEWER old white people voting AGAINST him and MORE younger DIVERSE people voting FOR him.

Mail in ballots INCREASE voter turnout which is ANOTHER factor when it comes to the larger majority. The number of mail in ballots has increased significantly owing to the Pandemic.

    FACTS matter!

If a parent wants to keep someone on their policy, why is this a problem for you and how is it "free stuff"?

My 19 year old is a Type-1 diabetic, and **** yes I will keep him on my policy as long as I can because he is going to get ****ed over by any insurance he might be able to get thanks to his preexisting condition. If you think there is a problem with this, I would tell you where to shove it, but do not want to get banned again.

As for mail-in ballots, they are the most efficient way to vote, which is why I like them and have not voted for a Dem since 1992.

You mean you did NOT vote for the guy who did away with pre existing condition exclusions or increases?

He should have removed it. If not for one politician it would have been removed. I’m still happy he got rid of the mandate. But as far as preexisting conditions he always supported that from day one.

The problem is there is no mechanism in place to just revert back to the old rules prior to ObamaCare, thus it has to be replaced in some form. But now it will just be replaced by some form of UHC

What is not to like? I request my mail-in ballot on line using personal information only I or an ID thief would know. The ballot can only be mailed to my address on record. Once it arrives I fill it out and send it back with my signature and it has a tracking number known only to me and I can track it as it makes its way from the post office to the county office to being processed and then being tabulated.

I will never vote in person again if I can help it

There is another problem. All of those tea-party types that OBJECTED to Obamacare now LIKE it so much they refuse to allow it to be repealed.

As one of those who was forced into medical bankruptcy by the old system I have no desire to see it come back either.

I don't have a problem with UHC as long as the medical service providers remain in the private sector. The GREED obsessed HMO's can vanish and I won't shed a tear for any of them.

That is what happens when you run a far right winger in Cali, they lose big. Prior to Elder entering the race Newsome was barely up in the polls, people were not enthused to even vote. Bring on Elder and that all changes.

Same thing happened with Trump, people came out in droves to vote against him.

You all do not learn from your mistakes.

The problem is that at age 26, they're no longer a "kid", and hasn't been for 8 years. Someone aside from the policy holder is paying for those subsidized premiums.

As far as mail in ballots, the biggest problem is that it's too easy to cheat, and it's also far too easy to collect ballots that otherwise would not have been cast. It's one thing if someone is old, infirm, in the military, or just plain on a vacation 1,500 miles away. But when partisan wonks can get the voter registration database, and drive from house to house collecting ballots that otherwise the "voter" would have been too lazy to complete, much less having the gumption to actually get off the couch and go to a polling place, the numbers get skewed. Not voting is also a choice, and if people are inclined to do that, they should be allowed to.
