Let's get it rather clear.... it's right wing anti-vaxxing / anti-masking facebook trusting people who now flock together and haunt some teacher for applying a little piece of tape on a head, as if it's permanently scarring a child for life. The over exaggeration is just too dumb for words, while they are turning their kids in a bunch of cry babies.

that is my point, they support spanking, but only if they don't like the person being spanked it seems

Obviously, you seem to have a gap between who should address issues with their children, and having a non-parent address things in the way they prefer.

How about a total stranger pulling up a child's mask? You cool with that too?

Wow. You seem to have a rather...unusual... perspective of 'spanking', and why it happens, when it happens, and who does it.

Which, by the by, has absolutely nothing to do with a teacher taping a mask to a child's face.

I'm sure you would be very happy to have the teacher tape anything to your face.

depends... why the kid is being disciplined for.

Than again. The tape is not part of a discipliner action at all. It's just to hold up a mask and not to be punished.
Right wing anti vaxxers anti masking pretend this is emo scarring a kid.

In this case we're talking about a teacher, and not a stranger.
Your comparison and so argument is a joke.

And you call yourself collateral damage, as if you're cool with people being killed for the greater good.
We're talking about a lil piece of tape on the head of a kid to hold a mask up, for the greater good...
How on earth could of all people, you, be against such a small sacrifice.
People act as if the kid got raped. Poor little snow flake... lol

Why should everything needed to be taped on my face?
We're talking about a lil piece of tape on the head of a kid to hold a mask up... in the middle of a pandemic.
You lot act as if this little snow flake got raped or got a limb amputated. Good grieve. lol

So a question, with a puncuation indicator of a question, is beyond your ability to actually answer. No problem, some people are not capable of answering questions.

My user name has no position in this discussion, and your asinine assumptions are an attempt at diversion from something you apparently cannot discuss like an adult. . Shall we discuss your user name, and what it portrays? Don't think you'd like the outcome.

Since rational discussion is not on your agenda, you have yourself a lovely day.

No spanking, no taping. Common sense, people.

The real issue is Breitfart manipulating its readers to be angry and hateful toward half of their fellow countrymen over such a stupid story.

Are you saying it's ok for the parent to do it?

Not my preferred action, but then I highly doubt I am privy to all that preceded it.

I haven't seen the thread you mention, but I don't believe empowering today's teachers to hit children is a popular or widespread position among conservatives. Many of us understand the attitudes and worldviews that are far too common among teachers these days and don't trust them farther than we can throw them.

That doesn't protect the teacher or the school from being sued.
