Biden decided to ignore the treaty set for May and hold out for Sept 9. He got caught with his pants down when the Taliban (In August) took over the city, ordered the evacuation in the middle of the night, which abandoned Americans behind enemy lines.

Germany, France, the UK, and the Dutch sent over troops, went into the city, and recovered all of their people.

Texit might help Texas but it would quickly solidify Democratic supermajorities in what remains of the US.

Personally I think there's a need to create city states with independent policy from the rural areas of states. The divide these days is urban v rural, not blue state v red state.

Austin is far more leftist than it is 50 miles east of Portland.
