Defense is pushing the mistrial discussion. Not looking good for the state.

No the prosecutor's job is literally to see justice done, not to win a case.

The judge and the prosecutor seem to be creating an excuse to give the State a mulligan.
They must be convinced that the jury will vote to acquit.

That should be the prosecutor's job. Many of them appear to no longer subscribe to that philosophy, including these bastards Binger and Fatlock.

He attempted to turn himself in but they told him to buzz off. I guess they were busy. So he went home, as should be expected of a kid after such a traumatizing event.

As for KR crying, it seemed very genuine and certainly was.

Any speculation otherwise is completely misguided and without evidence.

I've thought that as well, although dual jeopardy then does seem to protect Rittenhouse from their stupidity...

Kyle is emotionally ****ed up from that night. I don't blame him. That's pretty sad.

Judge called prosecutor a liar, "I don't believe you."

Prosecutor droning on and on about Kyle having the audacity to leave the lot to administer first-aid and put out fires. Judge wondering if he's going anywhere other than to make Kyle look good. Not sure if the prosecutor even knows where he's trying to go.

He's trying to drag it out long enough to wear Rittenhouse down. All he needs is a single slip. This is why you don't put the defendant on the stand unless you have no other option. Here, they have dozens of other options.

Kyle needs to sue every ****ing left leaning fake news outlet who portrayed him as a far right white supremacist extremist.

It sounds like jurists are being threatened. Shouldn't the DOJ be investigating that??

Only if the jury acquits. The prosecutors need a do over.
IMO, The system will do everything it can to give them one.

Why hasn't Gaige Grosskreutz, who pointed a gun at Kyle and attempted to shoot him not been charged with attempted murder?

Yeah I was surprised they did that with the trial going so well. Sure makes for monotonous and repetitive testimony. It does seem that the prosecutor's fishing for something he could attack Kyle for instead of trying to make any kind of point. He did get Kyle to admit to driving without a license. Thought that line of questioning would go forever until the judge finally had enough.

The jury knows it has to go home after the trial.

“Kenosha County, Wis., Circuit Court Judge Bruce Schroeder has a fanciful idea: That the trial he’s overseeing that includes murder charges against 18-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse can be removed from politics.

He said so on Monday during jury selection. “We don’t want to fall into the trap,” he said, “that many in the media have, a large percentage of the media, and discuss this as a political trial or that there are bigger factors at stake in this trial.”
How naive. Of course this is a trial of political consequence and of course there are bigger factors at stake. The potential jurors know it, and that’s why during selection several of them expressed concern that their city or they personally might be the targets of rioting or harassment, regardless of the verdict the jury renders….
—One said that no matter the verdict, “half the country will be up in arms about it.”
    — Another said, “I’m more afraid of our community and the outsiders of our community that are coming in… It just brings us back to August (2020).” She also said she was “potentially” afraid of reliving riots depending on the verdict.
    — A third said it was “scary” to be on a case like this one, specifically citing “riots” and wondering aloud, “Am I gonna get home safe?””

Yep, the judge was pretty upset with Binger.

That's understandable because Binger is an extremely corrupt piece of trash.

It's funny watching the prosecution try to get him with a "gotcha" even though he has no evidence and his own witnesses have killed his case.
