He only needs 1 snide comment to poison the jury. That's it.

Apparently to his friends house and work. After that his friend did all the driving. Doing anything they can to make Kyle look bad.

This case is really boiling down to how far we can go to protect property and lives from those that wish to take them from us. The more I read about it, the more I am convinced this was self defense and a conviction here will be a win for the thugs that wish to maintain fear over their prey. If Kyle walks, as I think he should, then maybe it will send the message that there are consequences for being a thug. Somehow I doubt it, I believe instead Kyle will be lucky to be alive a year from now if he walks.

He admitted he knew practically nothing about guns, ammo or shooting and that all his target shooting was done from 10 feet from the target. It's not criminal, but certainly troubling.

It made him look biased towards the defense, but in the end of the day the jury will decide guilty vs not guilty. The judge seems a bit of an oddball, because yesterday he was tossing books on to the floor. I'm surprised he is not saying "Jaaa..."

Rittenhouse will have to beat the Fake News MSM, the local police, the FBI/DOJ, the prosecutors and the broken court system to win. All he has going for him is a frightened jury.

    Because ADA Binger is corrupt.

Kyle should have never even been charged in such a clear cut case of self-defense.

None of which has anything to do with the results on the evening in question. He did fine, didn't hit anyone he shouldn't have. Its irrelevant.

You think it made him look biased towards the defense when he read the prosecutor the riot act for denigrating the defendant for exercising his 5th amendment right? Something he'd already asked to do in prelim and been told he couldn't? Something he should've demanded a side bar and permission from the judge before starting or technically he's intentionally violating a valid court order IE in contempt?
    Yeah sure sparky.

I am not sure what the lessor or included are in this case, or if there are any

lessor means they can downgrade a charge to a lessor one if allowed

I suppose they could offer a plea to a lessor charge (for a reduced sentence) at any time.
For example, 2nd Degree Reckless Endangering, Etc...

why would the defense take any plea deal? have you watched the case. it has been a train wreck for the prosecution and with the prosecution has left the door open for an appeal if the jury does not go there way

This prosecutor thinks he is going to catch him in a "gotcha" moment, but doesn't realize he is just continuing to damage the states case. What a moron.

    Yup.

The Prosecution didn't do themselves any favors today.

I didn't say The Defense should take a deal.
I was just speaking hypothetically about possible options.

i am sure it was, he is facing a lot of time for these killings, very stressful

can you imagine having to sit at a defense table for over a week, trying to act emotionless, that would take a lot out of anyone, guilty or not

For what its' worth, a combat veteran friend of mine said it seemed like PTSD to him. The cold to hot on mention of where your adrenaline started to spike from a life or death situation etc.

yep, agree, and then to add on the thought of prison on top of knowing you killed someone

they are saying now staying awake after a traumatic event may prevent those memories from recording so strongly, like staying awake way past tired

the reason a child sleeps so much is they have so much new inputs to write to disk and the sleep allows that, if they keep a child awake and do not allow to nap, he forgets what he learned

it's interesting and would be great if something like this could help soldiers that go thorough traumatic events before it became PTSD

And he hasn't been able to seek therapy pre trial or even just talk with friends and loved ones about it. Looked like he just popped.

Found an article on the above, interesting as many people just want to lay down and sleep after something traumatic, but staying awake as long as possible may be better

"Can sleep deprivation help prevent post-traumatic stress disorder?"

    https://www.theguardian.com/science/blog/2010/dec/17/sleep-post-traumatic-stress-disorder-ptsd

"New research published in the journal Biological Psychiatry now suggests that sleep deprivation may benefit sufferers of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), by preventing the consolidation of traumatic memories."

Juries are often allowed to say take first degree murder and lower it to lessor charge, this is decided by the lawyers and judge pre-trial

The dope wants a mistrial cause his evidence isn't backing up any of his charges. When a f'ing prosecutor decides he wants to use your 5th amendment right against you in court that he and everyone in the world knows he can't, he wants a mistrial. The judge was rightfully pissed

Keep in mind a couple things, he floated these charges in 48 hours before he even saw the video. It was a show charge. They also sent out doctored video showing police killing a black guy without showing the the black guy running towards them with a knife. That started this whole damn deal, once the evidence was out they floated he was a white supremacist. Even f'ing dementia joe tweeted about white supremacy supporting Trump with a pic of this kid with an AR15. If I was him I would sue and sue them all including ole dementia Joe for slander. He won't have to go to trial and be rich the rest of his life, the scumbag prosecutors, media and even dementia Joe trashed a 17 year old kid to divide this country as racist. It's sickening.
