When both you and AJ are pretending you don't know who Brandon is by putting up pictures of Brandon Lee as The Crow, you should expect to be called out on it, especially when it's clear you both did know and there's definite proof AJ did. I mean, seriously - did you or didn't you know who Brandon was when you made post #308? Were you just going along with it as a prank or what? Brandon's like a sig on a bunch of sigs here, I dunno how anyone can miss it/not know what it refers to by now.

What kind of scientific proof shall we use to prove what a woman is? If you feel you just walked into a situation you should have avoided, then that would be one of the few scientifically settled thoughts you’ve expressed on this board on a long time.

I dunno if I'm back for good, mind you - It's a four-day weekend, I've done almost all my chores, and I'm kinda getting my prep period back starting next week. Maybe. The teacher and sub shortage hit my school particularly hard and most of us have been putting in many extra hours, it's not quite as bad as last year when we were doing Zoom all year but it's still nowhere near what normal used to be. I'll just leave it at that, don't wanna derail the thread - but it's nice to be missed as I have missed this place as well.

You come back with accusation that you know nothing about, tell me what I know, and start throwing accusations around, and then you expect me to be nice to you and polite and abide by forum rules instead of telling you off for your crap. You wanna stay on topic? Fine. The bottom line with your entire defense of Biden involves splitting his sentence(s) into two parts, ignoring the first and focusing on the rest. I accept it as a given that saying "Negro Leagues" is okay. Here's where your argument falls apart: You can't defend the first part where Joe praises "The Great Negro." You talk about context then ignore part of the very same context. This is disingenuous at best. "Okay, look at the ENTIRE sentence EXCEPT for these words here." Seriously, that's your argument.

This is why several of us here have said the same thing to people defending Biden's drivel: Go ahead and talk to any group of blacks and refer to them as negroes. See what happens. Of course, no one will because we know what will happen; a blind man could see the consequences. But in order to really defend Biden on this someone on the LW who isn't black is gonna have to follow Biden's example and start referring to blacks as negroes. Or maybe great negroes, if you wanna be technical. Who's gonna be first?
