Gaige Grosskreutz Contradicts Sworn Testimony on CNN: Had ‘My Arms Up’ When Rittenhouse Shot Me

Gaige Grosskreautz, who was the second person (and sole survivor) to be shot by Kyle RIttenhouse, goes on CNN and says he was shot while his hands were up. Quote:
“...with one of the exhibits that attorney Chirafasi had introduced, there is a photo of me with my gun pointed toward the defendant, either just after or right during he had shot me in my right arm.”

“It’s important to note though that the physiology of my wound would be inconsistent with somebody being shot with their arm — and we’ll say, the traditional way that you would point a gun at somebody or some thing — the only way that I could have sustained the injury that I have is if I have been shot with my arms up,”

In court, he testified that he was shot after he lunged with his hands out toward Rittenhouse and while pointing a gun at him.

So, basically he's going on CNN to claim the physiology of how he was shot makes the video evidense of the shooting impossible. And CNN seems fine with this...

Now, I get people are allowed to go on the news and lie. Thats free speech. But are people allowed to go on the news and lie about a trial they are a witness in while the trial is still going on? I guess, unless ordered otherwise by the judge...

 

I have not followed this case because I think it's beyond ridiculous that so many people are defending him solely because of his race. Anybody non-white would have been crucified.

Nevertheless, again, I don't follow this case but if there is a jury and that jury and alternates are sequestered (no access to media or outside influences) people can say anything they want wherever they want. However, should any of those jury members state they've received "outside" information (anything that they didn't learn in the courtroom), it could be declared a mistrial and he would be entitled to a new jury selection and start the process all over.

 

Oh give it a break. George Floyd is considered a saint for over dosing on fentanyl.

 

Disgusting, isn't it? His funeral looked reminiscent of Princess Dianna's funeral or something. A career criminal. Absolutely insane.

Defending solely because of his race? I think you mistake those solely accusing Kyle of killing black people because of stupidity.

If the people he shot were black then Kyle would not be getting a fair trial

What I find amusing is both the prosecution and Grosskreutz being brazen enough to contradict clear video evidence. As long as the jury isn't stacked with card carrying antifa members, no one could watch the video and reconcile what they see with what they hear from the prosecution. If, by some act of corruption, a guilty verdict was returned by a crooked jury, the judge would have grounds to set the verdict aside.

Really, most of these charges should never have been filed.

At one time cnn was a highly regarded news source….. but that was many, many years ago.
