Mostly correct, but it's a disappointing day for justice nonetheless... 2 people died because of his actions.. The message has now been sent... Carry and fire during protests and you walk...I'm not sure how that ends well for this country. McVeigh, Roof, Cruz, Lanza, Harris & Klebold - He'll be on that list forever....
I hate juries. They rarely come even CLOSE to ensuring justice. WHY do we think that 12 people who can't even figure how to get out of jury duty are automatically qualified to make the most important decisions most people will ever face in their lives.
Are you completely blind? Serious question because he didn't 'say' he was threatened....it's on ****ing video. Do you get that? Do you get that you can't attack people in this country and if you do, they're allowed to fight back? Does that compute with you at all?
The "wrongful death" argument went down like the Hindenburg today and Kyle is going be rolling in LW MSM cash after the defamation suits are over.
He was. Huber chased him down and attacked him. He swung a heavy object at Kyle's head. It was clearly self-defense. If it's self-defense on the 1st degree homicide charge, it's necessarily self-defense on the lesser included 2nd degree homicide charge.
And this is what people have confused. Justice is for the ACCUSED. Justice was served with a just verdict and the defendent rights protected. Finding guilty based on the evidence would have been UNjust. Finding him guilty on a lessor charge just because you didn't think he should have been there would have been UNjust.
It's appalling that Rittenhouse got off. It would be different if another minority were to do Rittenhouse did, would be found guilty of first degree murder.
Its called a right to self defense. You don't like it, don't attack people with an AR 15. Most people know this. It was only the convicted criminal felons who attacked Rittenhouse who were shot. I think it going to teach those who think they are entitled to attack people because they have a gun, that its not going to work out for them. But you are free to push your false narrative about killing people who did nothing wrong.
Yes, typically the jury knows nothing about the law, but that is the system we have. Its the lawyers job to persuade the jury, and in this case the prosecution was less persuasive than the defense. Some countries have juries of lawyers, like 3 lawyers who hear the case from prosecution and defense lawyers, and then pass sentence based on the evidence and their knowledge of the law.
Frankly I don't see it...all parties involved are White, so BLM really didn't have a dog in this fight and Antifa depends on large crowds to provide cover for their piddly numbers, besides it's getting COLD at night up there.... but we'll see.
It was the evidence that was overwhelmingly clear and persuasive. And the judge gave them a lecture and then 35 pages aboutbthe law, they aren't stupid.
Well, on the EXACT SAME DAY that Kamala Harris became the legal POTUS for 85 minutes, we have this verdict?? Coincidence??? /s
If you're actually worried about your safety (which I'm skeptical of), you could remove the bumper sticker. Or move out of whatever shithole you live in.
Has anyone tuned into CNN or MSNBC yet? I’m betting it’s like a funeral over there with a lot or racism and white supremacy sprinkled in.
That message too will get out there... next time, somebody you DO care about might end up in the crosshairs....
