I probably watched more of that trial than most others. I was surprised at the deception/errors made by the prosecution. For one he tried to downplay the skateboard as being a weapon. That thing could kill you if you hit someone in the head with it. Then he said the AR-15 is not a right handed weapon. I suppose technically it is not, but it is designed for use by a right handed person. I may be assuming too much, but the bolt to **** it is on the right side and it ejects on the right side. A left handed person could be burned by the hot brass. I admit my ignorance towards an AR-15. I have handled one at a gun store, but have never fired one. I qualified with an M-16 in the Air Force, but that has been over fifty years ago. I am sure there was more technical errors.

I wouldn't say that juries in general lean left, but I would think they would in that particular municipality, since that is after all the place that allowed the riots to in the first place and had a DA that immediately charged Rittenhouse with murder with no investigation. That's why my prediction (which was wrong) was for a hung jury; I figured the evidence overwhelmingly established a self defense case, but figured there would be a few people on the jury who just couldn't bring themselves to acquit "white supremacist" Kyle Rittenhouse. I guess if that was the case the oncoming weekend changed their minds.
US Marines most assuredly know how to act on such situations. They are heavily trained for such situations.
I don't keep up with these phony baloney cases. The left has tried and tried to use the Justice system for their own gain. Sad.
This is a load of ****. As the other poster noted, there are not trained self-defense experts who recommend anything at all like you're implying. That is very cynical view. My perspective is that people are basically good and that if provided with accurate information in a supportive environment, without external influence, they'll come to the right decision. It seems that you were ready to let rip if they found him guilty, right?
Thankfully the jury reviewed the evidence and didn't cave in to the mob, MoronTV (MSNBC and CNN) and deranged democrats.
