How is it the China virus rules vary from state to state and even city to city? We see Brandon, Psaki and tons of others not wearing masks indoors, and where such a rule exists Brandon breaks them. And how does ‘science’ vary so much from state to state?

Democrats have been ignoring and even laughing at their own mask mandates, so how the heck did Oregon deviate so far from common sense?

I once had an opportunity to move to Bend, thank god I didn’t. That state is messed up.

I just went to the grocery store in a rural Oregon town. No one was wearing a mask. Not a single person. Mandate all you want, but when entire communities defy the mask mandate, then there is no mask mandate. King Canute mandated the tide to stay out and the ocean defied King Canute's mandate. Is this the ocean's fault or King Canute's? Trying to curtail and entire state's liberties forever is an exercise in futility. Of course Portland will comply because they no longer understand the concept of freedom.

Although I admire the fact that you made the effort to do some research into Oregon mask mandates, I do not feel that we are seeing two different versions of the same story. I believe we are looking at two stories which have some similarities, but are two separate stories. The outdoor mask mandate was lifted because there hasn't been any science to support outdoor mask efficacy. The Governor was about a year late in lifting the outdoor mask mandate, but she eventually waded through the white noise of hysteria and finally did the right thing. The indoor mask mandate was made permanent as a way for the governor to seize power that she normally would not be entrusted with.

The longer the mask mandates are in place, the more harm is done. At this point, they are approaching crimes against humanity territory.

I've never seen something so fruitless as Democratic attempts of using the government to fight a biochemical virus. Virus gonna virus people.

These people voted for this leadership. They seem to support it.

Masks don’t work, they never have and never will. It’s a fantasy to think that cloth is stopping the spread of a virus in your breath.

But what is not fantasy is that they harm the relationships between coworkers, or classmates. Don't believe it? Try hiding behind a mask from your wife for a couple of years and let me know if it has a positive effect on the relationship.

What happened to States rights? Did the virus kill that belief conservatives once had too?
