    https://news.yahoo.com/trump-asking-supporters-fund-plane-152737914.html

Former President Trump is asking his supporters to help fund his new "Trump Force One" private plane just days after a jet flying him to Mar-a-Lago made an emergency landing when one of its engines failed.

Can't help but get a chuckle over this :)

Seems Trump is turning into a televangelist when asking for money. Here once again we have a man who already has money asking for donations. Ironic that he and the ones that support him, complain about people living off the govt "teat".

This man has no character, has hit bottom and is starting to dig once again.

I don't know very many people that would pass up the chance to get millions of dollars from other people. He's doing what he does - a long con.

The part that surprises me is that anybody will still shake their piggy banks for him.

Now, now, they won't be buying it for him but for his Tax exempt and more importantly, bankruptcy of T**** exempt, PAC.

I wonder how he'll get them to buy a ship for him to live on in international waters when he gets a criminal indictment? He better hurry though, those puppies aren't cheap. I suppose he could just rent one of the Russian ones that have been confiscated.

I thought Trump was a billionaire; why would he need donations to purchase a new or used plane?

He certainly has all the qualifications. He attracts a cult following, he's a sexual degenerate and he's always grifting for people's money. Every religious right preacher has followed the same model for the past 50 years.

Those are his claims. Yet he still has a majority of Republican support.

All of them understood the gravity of the office, while anyone can argue some didn't hold it up as well as they should, they all revered the office. Hence why I refer to Washington's Farewell Address.

Yep. He is going to keep fleecing them for as much as he can, for as long as he can.

Why use his own money if he can get people to give him money?

    The ultimate charlatan.

He simply has no bottom and everyday he shows how well he knows his marks and how devoted they are to prove themselves right against all odds. AKA, the perfect MARKS.

He hasn’t been able to maintain the one he owns now. There’s no chance he buys another one. But it’s a great excuse to ask for more money from his marks.

“Please send me money to help me buy a private plane!”

Wow. Just wow. And many people will do it.

He certainly knows how to fleece his supporters. People who earn a pay check and he’s asking them for free money, on the pretext of wanting to buy a private jet. Anyone who donates to that charlatan deserves to lose their money.

I wonder if DJT will be smart enough to use the GoFundMe account? After all, it's the new American way to get money from someone nowadays.

Regarding Obama and Clinton, even Biden, where do you think they got their millions? People handed it to them and usually got something in return. Name anything either of those three bozos did that amounted to having a real job after they left government, and the Clintons left the White House ‘dead broke.’

Sounds like some wealthy donor might have been trying to eliminate the problem for everyone! ;)
Now I need to hurry up and donate before Trump has some disaster and can't run in 2024!

You seem like a smart guy who pays attention to politicians........... do you really not know how ex-presidents make money after they "retire"? I'm a little surprised you don't know that.
Hint: they don't beg for donations, at least, not usually.

Crooked Donnie Trump has been a corporate welfare queen and a grifter his whole adult life.
DONALD TRUMP, GRIFTER INCARNATE, CHARGES TAXPAYERS FOR WATER HE DRINKS AT MAR-A-LAGO
    https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2020/10/donald-trump-mar-a-lago-water
In the case of the government, Trump’s visits turned it into a captive customer, newly revealed documents show. What the government needed from Trump’s properties, it had to buy from Trump’s company. So the more he went, the more he got. Since 2017, Trump’s company has charged taxpayers for hotel rooms, ballrooms, cottages, rental houses, golf carts, votive candles, floating candles, candelabras, furniture moving, resort fees, decorative palm trees, strip steak, chocolate cake, breakfast buffets, $88 bottles of wine and $1,000 worth of liquor for White House aides. And water.
