Two more people killed. Dead from gunshot.

On average in the United States of America, one person dies from gunshot every 30 minutes. This is the level of carnage that results from our prsent laws and their level of enforcement.

I agree. Guns aren't the problem. Bullets, however, are. Bullets kill people. Coroner's reports list the damage caused by a bullet(s) as the cause of death.

For this to happen, the bullet needs a gun and a shooter.

I do not like the idea of eliminating the shooters. It's a draconian measure.

They weren't very good shots. 50 rounds and only hit 11 people and only 2 fatally.

People are killed in car accidents.

 

Now go look at the felony records of the killers. Explain to me why people with dozens of felonies are banging on the streets instead of rotting in prison. If liberals refuse to enforce existing laws, why would anybody believe new laws would change anything. There is almost a one to one correlation to liberals opening up the prisons and the skyrocketing murder rates. It is almost like locking up predators influences the murder rate far far far far more than gun laws.

 

Communists pick targets then go after them. Their targets are things in their way of being in total control of the people. This is why they hate guns.

Communists need the people to be unarmed. That way they are easier to control.

Hence the "Guns are bad" threads. As I posted earlier people are killed in car accidents yet where are the "cars are bad" threads? Communists play to people's desire to create a better world in order to get the people to submit to a Communist government. As history shows, communist governments always become totalitarian and the death caused is unreal.

 

Someone dies in a car accident every 16 minutes in this country. Should we ban cars too? Someone dies ever 90 seconds in the USA from complications resulting from the burning of fossil fuels (350,000 deaths annually in the USA, 9,000,000,000 deaths annually worldwide). I'm all for banning fossil fuels. Lets do that if you really want to save lives.
I would rather live in a society where I can rely on myself for my own protection with an inherent (though miniscule) amount of risk of being shot than live in a country where government dictates that I am not allowed to protect myself with a firearm. Police will never be there on time to stop a shooting. They can only react to one after the fact. So I think I'll reserve the right to protect myself.

You'll say, "well, if we remove them all, then we won't have to worry about it". There is no way in hell you are going to be able to get rid of all guns, especially from criminals. You'll kill far more people in the violence that will erupt from the government trying to confiscate firearms.

 

Once again it seems as though someone cannot see the forest for the trees.

I got a novel idea.... We already have laws about making it illegal to take a gun and shoot someone for no good reason so how about we start by enforcing those laws?

No let's just add a bunch more laws that criminals will keep on ignoring and they will only burden the law abiding.

When Democrats tell you that they are not out to ban guns they are lying to you.

We need to demand that liberals attempt to repeal the 2nd Amendment, i.e., told to put up or shut up.

 

Why not? The shooters are the problem. If you could wave a magic wand and get rid of all the guns, gang bangers would still kill each other with knives, vehicles, baseball bats, sharpened toothbrushes, or even hands and feet. People willing to murder others are the problem, not the various weapons they use to carry out the act. Eliminate the problem.

If you are shot dead with a gun or killed in an automobile accident are you any less dead?

 

You say you do not like the idea of eliminating the shooters.... These are people who decide to break our laws violently.
