    and if the tenth was taken seriously, there would be no federal gun control laws save perhaps tariffs on imported firearms

    So the so-called right abortion is not absolute and Roe v Wade should be repealed?

    The Constitution should be amended to make murder (most murders) and some attempted murders (political assassinations) carry a mandatory sentence of death. Then, you'll see the murder rate go down.

    No. You'd still be able to own and possess and bear arms, so it would not be a repeal of the 2nd.

    See, you want to change the constitution so you can do all these things, because you know they are infringements, and the 2nd currently prevents you from doing them.
    Thus, your amendment would allow the right to keep and bear arms to be infringed.
    And so, your amendment repeals the 2nd.
