The reason that they were arrested had to do with blocking the streets: 1:35 p.m. the demonstration was clear, according to Capitol Police, which reported that 17 lawmakers were arrested in total. Authorities arrested 35 people overall for crowding, obstructing or incommoding The group sat down in the middle of the street as an act of peaceful civil disobedience, as a group of police officers gathered around them, broadcasting a pre-recorded message announcing imminent arrest for blocking the street.
Numerous members of Congress were arrested. I'd call that a story. This story has more relevance than the stupid January 6th fluke y'all keep drumming up.
Correction: Charges will be dropped because they are political elites. Had I been arrested doing the same fiasco, that's my job. I'm fired.
Where I live, if you block the streets you've also blocked at least three sets of first responders in under any given hour.
Hardly. And certainly not, from your angle: the members' pretending, that the police were cuffing them.
I was sorta hoping you'd be more concerned about what kinda place I live in and how blocking the streets is pretty serious here but you just HAD to go there ...
oh, so you only think it's serious when dems do it? why can't you just say, yeah, if Trump supporters were doing that, they should be arrested too?
Can you tell if someone is a nazi by standing next to them? The tiki torch thing was from the night before. So can't go by that. Is there something else that indicates they were neo-nazi's or white supremacists? Or were they those in your mind just because they opposed tearing down a statue? Fact is that there WERE people there that opposed the tearing down of statues that were not neo-nazi's or white supremacists. No matter how much you spin. All that you're doing is spreading a lie. Its been disproven time and time again. You know this. All you're doing now is proving that you don't care about the truth.
No photo's of her being put in a cop car. Only photo's we see is of her not cuffed and being escorted away. So where is the proof that she was actually arrested?
lol Air-cuffs? We should arrest her for being unbelievably narcissistic and for literally using law enforcement as a political prop.
While I'm not fan of Omar, she has as much right to try and change things as the MAGA people do, and the same comment could be directed at them. If you don't like it, leave. Kind of a dumb thing to say to anybody of any political persuasion, but if you're going to say it just know it applies to everyone.
Breaking News: The Justices are meeting now to change their minds because of the arrests of these dedicated human beings that do nothing every day they are in congress beyond lots of whining!
The Trump supporters had a permit. https://www.buzzfeednews.com/articl...l-police-said-jan-6-unrest-on-capitol-grounds
I don’t understand the relevance of your hypothetical. The mother did not take her in for treatment. I have already said the child has been severely neglected but the law is the law. I am not aware of any provision in it that says if there is neglect involved it extends the heartbeat law. I think it is more of an integrity barrier than a language barrier. Perfectly. I understand your emotional response to holding such archaic views. Cognitive dissonance can cause that. That is the same language that the your pro forced abortion team uses — sorry if you don’t like it but I don’t really care. Your response exposes your answer whether or not you wanted it to
