I guess it is a miracle that Trump's not calling Oz a traitor over social media while Trump's followers are parroting those social media posts on megaphones, flying his flag, erecting gallows, busting down doors and windows, and chanting for Oz's execution.
The realities of covering John Fetterman. 'When Fetterman returned to the public forum in Erie, the stroke went from “a bump in the road” to him saying, “I almost died,” leaving open the delicate question of what is the extent of his illness, with no one to date offering that answer.' No answer is an answer. 'The few speeches he has given have been short — he visibly struggled in giving them — no direct questions from the press have been taken outside of two closed-captioned interviews, and he is surrounded by a circle of staff who do not allow people or the press to interact with him, including during the Labor Day parade where he marched encircled by dozens of staff and volunteers.' Sounds like Biden. 'Last week, he refused to debate his Republican rival Oz in the first debate in Pittsburgh that was scheduled to happen Sept. 6 on KDKA; it remains again very unclear if he will do any debates at all.' There is no evidence that, post stroke, he's capable of a debate. 'On Tuesday, I asked Fetterman press secretary Joe Calvello whether the candidate would be releasing an update on his medical condition. I received no answer.' No answer is an answer. 11 days ago Fetterman was at 49% - that's very close to the over 50% that would make him unbeatable. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/docs/2022/Topline-PAStatewide-Aug2022.pdf
I don't know how others will react but my view is that despite the self-evident but unproved election fraud and illegality in PA, a member of the electoral college would have no rational choice other than vote for acceptance.
Dude felt like he came out of nowhere. Doesn't even seem like the best the Dems could've pulled from the Democratic State Senate or from the Wolf(our governor) administration. I'm just used to name recognition regarding people in the State, and the dude came out of nowhere.
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; Check. neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, Check. and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States." Check. That about sums it up unless you're a member of the elites. They don't care much for the Constitution. It only gets in the way for them.
Yeah I saw Fetterman speak and it was very difficult for him. He clearly no longer has the physical capability to represent his district and should resign from the campaign and let someone else step up but ... I dunno pride keeps him in there? I agree with Oz that he should have certified Biden. I imagine next to no one will use this as a reason to not vote for Oz. There are other factors that have dampened voters enthusiasm for Oz as he is fairly moderate as opposed to the radical Fetterman. Observing the mental disabilities of our current President I think that people should see the severe problems caused by putting into office persons with clear mental deficiency problems.
RIDICULOUS! HE’S AS FIT FOR OFFICE AS JOE BIDEN IS! Fetterman’s Hometown Newspaper Questions His Ability To Serve After Skipping Debate. 'The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said Fetterman's refusal to debate raises "legitimate concerns" about his health. "Voters have a right to know whether their prospective senator can do the job—including handling the give-and-take of a vigorous debate," the editorial board said.' You think? 'Fetterman said he would skip a debate with Oz this week as he works on his "auditory processing and speech" following a stroke in May.' I wish him the best. Fetterman is very felon-friendly: 'Oz has made Fetterman's criminal justice reform policies a focal point of his campaign. On Tuesday, he cited the Washington Free Beacon‘s report that Fetterman cast the only vote on the board of pardons to release Wayne Covington, who was convicted of first-degree murder for killing a man while stealing money for heroin. Fetterman voted to free Covington last year, against the wishes of the victim's family.' Pro-Felon
