if we don’t counter Chinese aggressions no one will. We need to build our military as well. We can not allow China to have a military larger than ours. Big militaries make big economies. The influence a a military in the world always makes an economy grow. All the great countries throughout history had a large military presence and was defeated militarily when their economy collapsed. Russias and chinas aggression should not be taken lightly.

we have the military spending of the next 10 military power combine, how much more do you want to pump into military, its already at $1Trillion ish. one of reason USSR fall is due to its bloated military spending at 10% of its GDP. ours is 4-5% of our GDP now.

We have to match or beat the Chinese cost to labor ratio

Lmao. How about this: if we don’t counter amerikkkas aggressions no one will. We need to build our military as well. We can not allow amerikkka to have a military larger than ours.

That's right folks, it's called arms proliferation, the unending scenario where wars will be created indefinitely in order to keep everybody at each others throats while we exploit and extort all willing participants in our game of mass chaos. Who's in?

We have always maintained a strong military, and even now our military spending is three times that of China's.

Indeed. What is the meaning of life? Well, if you live in the US it is war, that's all.

The US subscribes to the One China policy, so we'll have to look hard to find a reason to start a war over Tiwan.

You can forget about China. The U.S. built China from the ground up...by forcing businesses offshore with high taxes and onerous regulations. China is winning the economic war with the U.S. and it's not even close. If the U.S. wants to compete, it's needs to quit militarily ****ing around in other country's businesses and concentrate on defending its own borders.

But that's the point Bill. Destroy America. How else do you explain any of it? The Julius and Ethel Rosenberg types have grown exponentially and taken over all of the countries institutions. Now they seek to finish the job. Death to America is their cry.

We could cripple China without firing a shot.

Make all future trade agreements require all items allowed into the United States be manufactured with labor protections. Push all of our allies to do the same

Bring high tech industry to the US and require any items that receive taxpayer funding or grants must be made in America.

Work with foreign nations that have needed mineral reserves to build up their economies so that China cannot swoop in and steal them.

There have been a number of good plans to maintain US hegemony but all have disintegrated as the key US players have abandoned the big picture and run off after a billion dollars here and a few million dollars there.

They work together and we don't, it will be interesting to see who wins.

Oh, and there's another problem, we lie about everything so nobody here is thinking about the actual problems, just saying 'Putin's mad' and crap like that. Everyone is building castles in the air.

If the military is falling behind on technology I would argue it’s not enough. China and Russia both have weapons we do not have nor are we capable of defending against. With how unruly the world is this should be flashing red sirens right now.

you also I am sure we’ll aware that we can not trust numbers coming from China.

Yeah, that technologically advanced Russian military.

Having a missile cruiser sunk by a country that doesn't have a Navy.

What with, Monopoly money? If you wanted to add military/warfighting into the equation, the US will have to sail thousands of miles to reach China only to absorb the blows and then watch the ships sink in retaliation.

You took the time to delete 90% of my post and then ask for clarification?

    How laughable

I guess rubles don’t buy quality commentary any longer.

What excuse has the M.I.C. come up with for wanting a war with China?

No, I just quoted the most relevant for my response. As for the Ruble, it most certainly won't be for any of yours. What is the US dollar backed by btw, do you know? I'll save you the time. It's backed by debt and military interventions. What is the Ruble backed by? Gold and silver and other commodities.

Has your grin turned into a frown?

BTW, I just highlighted the portion of what I wanted to quote/reply to, it gives you that option. Did you know that?

Russia is more comparable to a third world nation than it is to the US. I have electricity and am not being drafted into a war by a failed dictator. My smile remains upright.

Are you implying I don't have electricity or that I am going to be drafted into the Russian military from Australia, a very vivid imagination you have? :applause:

I said Russia and in no way implied either having anything having to do with you. Fascinating

Ironic saying others have a very vivid imitation.

We are by far the most technologically advanced (militarily) nation on the planet. Russians duct-tape cell phones to dash of their airplanes to navigare, because they don't have the tech. China can brag about spending all day long, but they have a long way to go.

Exactly. We had no idea how far behind Russia was before they chose to reveal it to the whole world by attacking Ukraine and embarrassing themselves.

Wouldn't China have to sail thousands of miles to reach the US if they wanted to fight us? The problem is that they simply so not have the capability to do that.

No, its not. You have been lied to.

Is the Russian Ruble Linked to Gold?
https://www.gainesvillecoins.com/blog/is-russian-ruble-linked-to-gold#:~:text=Some gold commentators are writing, but this is not true.
Some gold commentators are writing the central bank of Russia has linked the ruble to gold, but this is not true.

In the fog of war the first causality is the truth, and this time it’s no different.

"Russia has just linked the ruble to gold at a rate of 5,000 rubles to one gram of gold."

This is false. I know because CBR disclosed this on their website, but also because as the ruble keeps strengthening, the ruble gold price keeps falling. At the time of writing the gold price is around 4,000 RUB/gram. How’s that possible if CBR is pegging gold at 5,000 RUB/gram? Obviously, CBR has not “linked the ruble to gold at a rate of 5,000 rubles to one gram of gold.”
