Most of those who were transported said they were glad to go in order to get to or nearer to their desired destinations. You should not make assumptions that rob the immigrants of their agency.

    Ok.

    That's not true.

If you want to spin this to California verse Texas, fine.. I'll play.

First of all, according to most reports Texas has about 1.7M illegals to California's 2.7M. That's about 37% more in California yet they have an economy that is 41% larger than Texas.

Further, how long illegals have been in the country have a great deal of impact in their ability to sustain themselves rather than be dependent on the States resources.

Texas sees the overwhelming majority of initial crosses, who immediately need aid.

dems offered Trump money (25 Billion) for his wall in return for DACA.... Trump refused, thus never got his wall

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/opin...ational-emergency-dreamers-column/2840800002/

"Last year, 45 Senate Democrats voted for a bill that provided $25 billion for a border wall, in exchange for providing a path to citizenship for the “Dreamers” who were brought to the U.S. undocumented as children. President Trump rejected that deal, calling it a “giant amnesty.”"

Trump blew that one biggly, lost his chance...

First and foremost they're not immigrants immigrant is a legal status they are illegal aliens.

He's dealing with a problem the president created so he gets drilled the President should be executed.

Why is it okay to traffick then to Texas but not okay to let them go yours if they want to. Is it because we're not around you you have to see them?

You haven't disputed anything. All you do is insult and call names. Your handlers must be proud.

You need.a lesson in maths! Using your figures California has 58.8% more illegals

And economy has nothing to do with "California has 50% more illegals than Texas"

A sanctuary city is merely a city that disallows the local police from acting as immigration officers if an undoc calls the cops for being a victim of a crime. This is necessary because without it, undocs become targets of crime as the criminal knows the victim won't call the police if the region is not a sanctuary region. It's a humanitarian thing, but a sanctuary city does not constrain the immigration department from doing it's job.

Sanctuary cities do not 'encourage chaos', that's nonsense.

No, you're just being partisan. The fact of the matter is that in the entire 233 years of our nation's history, not one president has succeeded in 'securing the border'. Why? Because it's impossible. Securing the border is like crime, you can't stop them from coming, the best you can do is put a dent it in it. You could build a wall along the 2000 mile border at a cost of too many billions, but they would just climb over it and it wouldn't stop the 40% of illegals who are visa overstays.

Since we have a labor shortage in this nation, what is needed is to speed up the process by which an alien can get to resident status such that he or she can work, legally. We need more immigrants, not less.

ECA, that is where you went off course.

They don't consider them to be humans. If they do, they are humans inferior to them.

I wasn't given a choice when my family had me ex-communicated (removal in Catholicism) and the whole family (100s) shunned me. It was devastating but, on this side, a real blessing. Ironically, one of their complaints was I care about everyone. /smdh

Countless people have assumed I'm Christian over the decades and I don't correct them. My divorce attorney even asked me why I'm kind to my ex (who was extra cruel through the process). My answer was/is "I'm not kind because of who my ex is, but because of who I am."

I've learned to brace for pure evil when someone refers to themself as a "true Christian". ;-)

Time was the immigrants came to work, send money home and go back now and then. The walls and everything else are designed to be far more effective keeping people in the US because only one side being monitored. So since getting safely out is so much harder it is becoming more common for whole families to come and stay much longer, even permanently.

To me the solution is to let them have work visas, check for trafficking, and let them come and go. There are many jobs employers have trouble filling and they are willing,

It's how it used to be done.

You really are unable to present any logical arguments or facts, aren't you. Post after post all you due is insult and make vague comments. OK... if that's how you get your jollies... but it doesn't accomplishment anything.

Its been a long time and lots of posts since you have written anything that approaches a fact or a logical argument. Your insults aren't of value and that's all you have. So goodbye, I must put you on ignore now. Be well... if you can...

Ummmmmmmmmmmm, Democrats are forcing Texas to deal with a situation they are not ready nor informed of, leaving these illegals in freezing weather. Abbot did the humane thing and put them on heated buses and shipped them to a large home connected with the federal government where illegals are wanted and which should have been in the Christmas spirit, letting the migrants in. Funny though how the left refuse to let the states handle the migrant problem the way they want to, claiming it is the federal government's job, not the states and then the federal government blames the states for shipping migrants to the federal government.

By the way, I heard a rumor that the weather is much better down around the Central America area. They didn't need to come here, they could have just stayed where they were where it is warm. Their choice.

While "attempted murder" seems a bit severe-- and a prosecutorial overreach-- Abbott's acts are surely contemptible.
