I think the party is less important than the fact that it seems like it's almost always men who commit sexual misconduct.

I wonder why men are so terrible? Why can't they think with their big head?

 

If this is trying to relate to current events: how many of them paid off the individual using campaign funds in order to influence the votes of the American public?

Generally speaking, sexual misconduct, namely affairs, is not exactly illegal. It may be immoral, but not illegal. Some did do illegal things such as arrested and convicted for rape or solicitation. However, when it comes to the GOP, you don't have high standards. Electing Donald J Trump proves that statement to be false. Trump had an affair with Marla Maples, a very public affair when he was married to Ivana Trump. When campaigning for President, he had an affair with Stormy Daniels and McDougal. then we have Jim Jordan of Ohio who help coverup the sexual misconduct of the Ohio State men's Wrestling Team when he was the assistant coach. then we have Rep. Newt Gingririch when he was in office as speaker and had an affair. His own party kicked him out and he has never forgave the them for that.

So, yes, both sides do this. It is not an either/or situation. But you seem to think it is and history, and facts are not on your side with your argument here.

 

There was one that included only women, it was broken out by sex... but I cannot find the website anymore. For example, I think our Vice President would likely be in that list as well. But I think it's obvious that men do this more, because that's the nature of how the birds and the bees work. One pitches, the other plays catch... and there's a little bit of a double-standard when someone commits an act of adultery, or something else.

Example, women who have sex with underaged kids, there's always the "high five, way to go!" When a man does it... it's predatory. But in truth, both are equally bad. But society looks down on men more than they do women, for people who are supposed to be held in higher moral esteem. For women, it's perceived as being powerful.

Not my opinion though... I think if you take vows... regardless of who you are, regardless of whether it's a straight or same-sex marriage, doesn't matter... it's who you are as a person. Someone who would cheat on their wives... what would they be willing to do to the taxpayer? I think we're at the point though, where politicians in general are so disgusting, that we're now looking at it from the perspective of... how long ago was it?

If you read down the list, it seems at least a 3rd of them did.

 

Senator Edwards is the only one I know of. If you look at the list, most had affairs, and admitting to it. Some violated the law with some being convicted. but his sentence, "Unlike other lists created by Democrats showing Republicans, we have a very strict requirement that the individuals in question have either confessed or been convicted." is where his fantasy really begins.

You do know that you can have a tentative position while disagreeing with others. We are all forced to make imperfect choices, as the doofus currently presiding over the WH well demonstrates. Or is there short memories among the Left who told us "It's not Trump"?

I don't hold the position of targeting businesses and organizations that dare speak out against the government. I'm generally pro first amendment. I have a problem with media organizations releasing information without citing sources, and tangibly at that. But other than that, our first amendment is sacrosanct.

My tentative support comes from the idea that he's presently one of the few, who I think(I need to see more proof) that he's against the blank check that the mainstream establishment has given, from Ukraine's blackmail of the US(you can only call it blackmail since he repeatedly tells us the downfall of his country would mean we'd have to send our forces over there.)

To me as a person and as a voter, national security and defense is paramount. The rest is subject to fair debate. But we must have a prominent pro-US foreign policy. Not a pro-international community foreign policy.
