i am sick to death of this crap. no, one incident on video says nothing more than this being a single incident. what about the thousands of other such incidents? every time we hear the same thing from the usual suspects, "it's only one incident", followed by some scurrilous claim of racism. i hate to break it to you, but this indicates a trend and it definitely says something about black america. not every black american, but the power structure beneath that uses race baiting to secure power and the multitude of its adherents.

 

Where is Black America? I don't see it listed on the UN website.

The left has a tendency to highlight race when it involves white people in a negative light. Seems awful hypocritical the leftist perspective here…because it is.

I was looking at the schools' rules handbook. Looks like she was looking at an expulsion or at least a suspension. She probably couldn't care less.

 

When I was a kid I got in trouble outside of high school and was charged with some felonies. I was expelled from school and placed in a dropout program. She actually committed a felony while in school and I bet she doesn't get expelled

 

The school said they punished her but won't say what exactly is the punishment so you could very well be right about that. Probably writing I will not mace my teacher ever again 100 times on the chalkboard will about do it.
They don't serve the kid well by giving her a hand-slap as I am sure you learned well by own experiences.

 

... Eventually. I was never the violent sort but I have not been in trouble now in nearly 20 years. Never was I charged with anything having to do with dope or violence or of a sexual nature. It never remotely occurred to me to assault a teacher.

Not the best school year for this teacher - he has already been assaulted in class for the same thing. Still don't understand the need for cell phones in the class room as we had cell phones in the late 90's but you were not allowed to have it in school. If you need to use the phone or contact your parents you had to leave the classroom and go to the office to make the call.....
But remember, it is the parents in the end who are demanding they have the cell phones to begin with. Calling the office takes to much time and they want instant access to their child in case of something bad happening.

 

In the article I linked with a video the same teacher was physically assualted 2 months prior by a white student. The only correlating factor is the teacher taking the phone from the student, here is another video of a student attacking a teacher for taking his phone at Lamar high school in the Houston area. Lots more if you search for it, lots of comments on all these videos saying teachers should not be able to steal students phones.


We need to take a real look at the importance of cell phones for students in school. Lots of parents want their kids to have them, and most students probably want them to. In Florida they just made it mandatory in the state that no cell phones can be used in class.

Uh huh, and yet your own post underlies the problem. In HER brain. She's an individual. Are you saying there has never been a white student who disrespected or assaulted a black teacher? I wouldn't say that because I bet it's happened. Again, does that mean all white students are being coddled or encouraged to have a sense of entitlement? Obviously not, and you'd agree. Because the student was white. You see, you're problem with race is showing a little bit. If you treat these problems as individuals being accountable for their own actions, the solutions are obvious. Don't allow weapons in school. Clearly, students and teachers are safer when no one has pepper spray. She can be prissy all she wants, but when she breaks the rules and gets her phone taken away, which here's another concept, ban phones being used in the class room, then all she can do is yell? Maybe hit? Still her problem, still her accountability. It's not other people's problem.

 

Exactly, in other words, the issue here has nothing to do with race. It has to do with the fact that we as Americans are largely entitled at any age. And as a result, we tend to let that entitlement influence our reactions in negative ways. The solutions here have nothing to do with race. It has to do with schools making and enforcing rules and parents realizing that schools do this to promote a strong educational environment so they should get the hell out of the way. Because no child grows entitled completely on their own.

 

Show me the trend then. That means, you have data to back it up...and not just of black students but of all races when it comes to assaulting teachers.

 

Absolutely there has been. The PROBLEM is that we do not coddle white people. Convincing them that all that what ales a white person is the result of black people's oppression. We don't have signs or slogans saying "all black people are racist" Or "be less black" do we? We are not defending blatant white criminals are we?

The entitlement and arrogance and lack of agency we are placating towards black people with regards to how they view white people right now in our society is fueling this low opinion and "beneath me" attitude adopted by blacks.
