Limits are not a ban, so no lie.

    Are you sure?

What are the requirements, what is the unit of measurement, and at what measurement can the baby be aborted?

Is it a numerical measurement, or is it more subjective than that?

Hey- that's great that you made your post about me instead of about the topic and what the definition of viability might be. Maybe next we can discuss you and how you define viability. Or should we discuss your mother instead?

Nah, let's talk about the topic.

Just for nothing, the definition of the age of viability is 24 weeks meaning that at that age a baby has a better than 50% chance of survival (24 weeks carries a 60-70% chance of survival, 23 weeks is 50%). The record currently is 21 weeks and 5 days- held by 2 babies.

Odds increase rapidly the longer you can hold off delivery. My wife went pre-eclamptic at 26 weeks 30+ years ago when that age was right on the razor's edge of viability. She was transferred to the high risk birth unit at the University of Michigan hospital and went into a hurry up and wait routine that got her another 2 weeks and my daughter was born at 28 weeks. We signed up for an experimental trial of a synthetic lung surfactant since breathing is the biggest risk a premature baby faces and we're not sure if she got it, but I'd bet money she did. U of M kept her for a month and then she was transferred back to the original hospital for yet another month.

She came home at 36 weeks gestation (out of the normal 40) and is now a happy and healthy married woman of 33 years old.

Medical science continues to be amazing.

Ya know, if you're going to discuss pregnancy and abortion you really should learn what the big words mean...

You VERY obviously have NO idea what viability in a fetus is...NO idea whatsover....try reading up on it ....because until you do your posts will really look as silly as this one you just posted.

And the last 3 sentences make no sense at all.....LOL, what a fiasco !!

So you STILL don't know what viability means....:roflol::roflol:
