Don’t know if I can since you appear to have made up your mind. For me LGBTQI is about accepting ALL people for who and what they are

The mother in this supposed fake video, broke into a public space and defamed or stole property?

What exactly is this supposed indoctrination?

The pride flag promulgates the belief that it's OK to be queer.

Bullying is wrong. Students that engage in bullying should be flagged, monitored, and counseled. Those who continue to engage in bullying should have a boot camp-type experience.

I answered your question. You dodged mine. Do you believe a teacher should get to decide that students experience the fear of burning for an eternity for having gender confusion?

I am flexible. Which of the following is more reasonable in your opinion:

If we restrict the classroom to what they were designed for, there can be no issues.
If we allow all beliefs to be imposed, you will always have some issues.
If we start deciding which beliefs can be imposed and which are banned, we now have what I call "Preferred beliefs" and "preferred citizens"

The US flag stands for equality, opportunity, freedom, and all sorts of issues that the confederate battle flag has been used by those who absolutely disagree.

It has represented that position of hate and discrimination through today - not just for the years of the civil war. Nobody doubts what the confederate battle flag stands for when exhibited today - including even in the iconography of posters on this board.

The rainbow flag includes you in that it is inclusive of diversity.

Of course, if you hate gays, that is a point of disagreement.

Of course they are. I draw the line at taking it into our classrooms.

Good grief. Teaching students how to teach themselves about different countries and cultures is what schools should be doing.

I used to have a "countries report" when I was teaching students how to research. No two kids in the class could examine the same country. They could pick anything in their chosen country to consider. They had to write something to entertain, inform, and challenge the other students. They were learning how to present ideas.

The kids figured out they were collectively a lot more interesting than they ever imagined.

    Irrelevant, but true.

Lets say the teacher displays a flag saying: "There are only two genders" Are you still on board?

Wow! Where did you get that piss poor rationalisation? Stormfront? Nazis-r-us? I read it and my immediate visualisation was some southern American white slave owner “Mint Julep” in hand looking out over the plantation boasting about the slaves he just bought
I am talking about the people that built this

It would appear as though you agree that teachers should not be permitted to use their influence to impose their beliefs on their captive audience.

Depends on what YOU mean by “impose”. Kids should be exposed to all sorts of ideas to challenge them and help them develop. It is time wasting to expose them to a culture the are steeped in on a daily basis. This is why I am happy with things like displaying the three official flags in a classroom here. Doesn’t mean the kids will suddenly decide to become a “First Nations” person. One kid in a hundred, a thousand might become enamoured with the concept and learn more but they are not going to stake a claim on Arrernte land and live in the desert - one in a million might but why should we hurt all those other kids who have learnt tolerance and acceptance because of a very very few? Usually though the flags become “background noise” often seen never really noticed

Depends upon what the teacher says about the flag.

    We have gone further

At the start of every meeting/ event we acknowledge the traditional owners of the land and elders past present nd emerging and where possible, we name the traditional owners ( not always easy to find out :p)

That is indoctrination, and a significant percentage of the population thinks it is not OK. Not everyone is woke.

“Indoctrination”? Are you trying to tell me that one flag can turn a kid queer when they are bombarded with heterosexual imagery and socialisation day in day out? If it were possible to “turn” someone why does not the heterosexual culture stop kids from becoming gay?

And if that increase is actually the product of EDCs and not an accidental glimpse of something painted like a rainbow?
