And this gives her more medical expertise than a doctor?

You've come to the wrong place. The sandbox is across the road.

Throughout western medicine today, doctors offer options and patients decide whether to accept any of those options. Doctors are seriously limited in what they can do unless the patient signs permission.

Doctors get decision making authority only if it is an immediately life threatening situation and the patient or legal representative can't be consulted. In that case, the doctor will work to save the life of the patient.

Are you seriously not aware of that?

I agree with all of that, but this has nothing to do with whether or not all abortions are medically necessary. They are not. Do you agree?

So you admit that there is no post in which you ask for a legal definition of those words. Great! I understand! :roflol:

    Yes, it does.

The woman and her doctor ...

Remember? It's not the doctor and the state prosecuting attorney.

Of course! The FDA approves what medicines doctors may use.

I always find it disingenuous when pro-choicers try to tell people "It's a decision between a woman and her doctor."
The women wanting to get late-term abortions will just go to the 1 or 2 doctors in the entire state willing to do it, even if 99% of Ob-Gyn doctors would refuse to do it under those circumstances.
Not to mention that the latest laws in the super pro-choice states allow a worker who is not a doctor to do it, without there being a need for the woman to ever even see a doctor.

This is nonsense. There are VERY few late term abortions. And, those that occur are for serious health issues of the woman and/or the fetus.

Remember that you are suggesting that women are carrying a fetus to near the point of birth and only THEN are demanding abortion.

Remember that a fetus could survive birth quite some time before the usual 9 months. You aren't going to find doctors willing to terminate a fetus that could survive birth. That is a clear violation of their oath.

A low percentage doesn't mean a low number. Don't get those confused.

Tell me, which do you think there are more of in the U.S., gun homicides, or abortions that are conducted after 13 weeks gestation for non-medical reasons?

I addressed you claim about late term abortion. In the USA, that's just not an issue.

It is an issue. I reject your argument, and gave the reason why.

(percentages are irrelevant. Look at the actual numbers. A small percent of a big number can still be big)

You haven't shown the reasons for those late term abortions.
